Week 2 completed, next SIM Wednesday at 5 pm eastern
Terrific game Hawaii, thankfully I only have to face you once every 4 years...
Spoiler
Really enjoyed this one, 2nd week in a row where we turn around the ship in the 2nd half to overcome a 10 points deficit, Hawaii was on fire in the 1st quarter setting early the tone for the game, run hard, pass in short downs. Then after a couple of missed FGs by our future HOF Kicker (Hopefully). After being intercepted just past 5 minutes in the 1st quarter, Ciszek took over the game in the 2nd quarter finishing with a 29/41 287 Yards 3 TD and 1 Interception, adding 31 yards on the ground for a 104.4 QB rating, the rapport with the Veteran Leroy Burkley was evident after finding him twice for 6 points. Bart Poston had another great game totaling 137 yards in 25 Touches between passes and runs, however he coughed another fumble for 2nd week in a row, I don't like that at all.
Our pass defence was marvellous taking away long shots from Heath Morton, keeping the WRs in front of them all day long, Morton finished with under 50% passes completed and a mere 76.8 QB Rating.
The young Carson Lincoln is the first Rookie in the OSFL History to return 2 Punts for 6 in his first 2 games as a Pro! Congratulations for the finding!!! The undrafted FA original from Ohio, nice homecoming for him, now he is only one Punt return for Touchdown shy of the OSFL Single-season record... Will he be able to break the regent 9 career scoring touchdowns from punt returns that is on the bock since 2026??? Yes 23 years ago!!! Oh My!!!

After an ugly start, going 0-24 after less than 20 minutes into the game we Rallied hard to come back and win it 27-24 in OT thanks to well time turn overs

GG Shark! We played hard in the first half but just couldn't keep it going in the second. I still have some concerns about this squad but there is also a lot to be encouraged about. I can't fault my guys for coming up just a little short on the road against the defending champs!
Carson Lincoln has been a bright spot for sure. I don't see a future for him beyond special teams specialist, but that seems like a role he'll be able to fill perfectly well!
Have no idea what's going on, but second straight game the starting qb has been benched. Ingame settings are set to prohibit that, and we're losing. Odd.

You have your starting QB deactivated and Yeong listed as the starter. I guess you didn't want that and you didn't send the file like that.
make the adjustments in the Roster that you have to do, then:
Go to Game plan details and set Subsititue starting QB during games to 1, then go to Controls--> Options--> Edit MP options and set Coaches reset depth chart to Highlighted NO and click ok, also set NO to auto-create gameplans and depth chart + Save game plan and depth chart progress on export to YES That should do...

I know the starter is deactivated, but I activated him and put him in as starter....twice. It keeps getting shuffled somehow. I double checked this last export and the roster was filled out the way I wanted it. Something odd is happening (and no, I'm not accusing anyone of cheating...it's strange). I I just checked the multi player options and it's set correctly so that the game cannot make roster changes as it is in my other leagues. I have no idea what's happening.
PS: And I think I figured it out. I've had to make some roster changes during week one and week two, and I think the a.i. is shuffling to avoid a conflict with the starting qb and fullback.

I hope you get your QB for Week 3. I will double check before to fire the next SIM. If the MP options are right I don't see why the AI will make changes in your Roster regardless the conflicts... Well as I said I will monitor it.

I'll take the win, but San Francisco's game plan is messed up: "defense is very familiar with that play" started showing up at the beginning of the second quarter.
GG Rob, That fumble cost us a win but I will settle for a tie vs you.

We were lucky to escape with a tie. I have been very impressed with veteran QB Dan Leoni. If he keeps playing like this, I don't know when our rookie QB will make his debut.
Well, we manage to pull off a win.
The defensed played as expected for the first two drives holding Dakota to 12 yards of offense, but then, we gave up 15 unanswered points in the second half giving up long drives. Near the end of the 3rd and the 4th quarter, we dominated on defense; 18 yards total yards. The Offense came alive and scored 18 unanswered points of their own in route to a comfortable win by 10. The running game was very inconsistent. Farley had a passer rating of 105.5 His one blemish was an INT in the second, but thanks to a stout defense it only resulted in a FG.
