Damn man... 3rd game in a row in which the Sharks overcame a 2 possessions trail in the 2nd half... We topped Salt Lake City with 29 seconds to go thanks to... Wait for it.... QB Rickie Boldin! He went 4/6 for 76 yards and ran for 9 yards in 3 runs, in a 10 plays 93 yards drive, connecting in the back of the end-zone with TE Eli Dawkins in 4th down and Goal when Burkley was blanketed.

We are 3-0 but unfortunately for our season Ciszek went down with a Turf Toe in a play in which he found Burkley in the back of the end zone when he was running an out route against man to man coverage, to start the comeback.

Bad timing to have Ciszek down with Port City next in our Schedule...

Turn the injuries back off! QB and LT both went down, the latter for 9 weeks. Backup journeyman Riddick Haroldson came in and led the team to a 41-10 victory.

QB situation in the AC East in weird right now. Punx and Ohio both with their starters injured, Motor City sending out a rookie from Duke, and Lake County sitting the #1 overall pick that they paid like 10 first round picks for in favor of ancient Dan Leoni of all people! I don't know if Leoni will keep up the doubling of his QB rating from last season, but if he does he should be a shoo-in for comeback player of the year.

Maybe he will get better!

From my experience anytime they are Doubtful with Turf Toe they won't even play. I had an OT out for 13 weeks with it. Just never recovered.

Yeah Doubtful basically means out, I think I had a similar experience in the CFL and the player was out just for 5 weeks... I hope so.. We are going to shut him down until recovery... Hopefully that will speed up the process...
