GG Memphis. When we lost the toss in Overtime, i knew it was over. We had no answer to your offense. On a bright note, we started 2nd year QB Ian Benson and he had a great game even though we lost. Four of our five losses have been by 6 points or less :(
A snooze fest in Portland as we win 21-7. There were a total of 6 fumbles and 3 INT's in the game as hard hits were not hard to find in this bitter divisional matchup.
We go into the bye week at 6-4 with a 3 game road trip to follow.

Why did Utah go for it with 4 second left in the 1st half? It was 1st and 10 at my 19 and they just called their last timeout with 4 seconds on the clock. Thats a coach killer.
Nice 5 game win streak and we spend the next 3 straight at home.
Herb Nikolaus is having a fine season. Buddy Offord has at least 4 receptions in every game and is playing an all-pro level. He is 4th in the league at YAC. Not bad for a TE. He took on 85 yards to the house this week. The Stags 5 top pass catchers have a combined 3 drops! The starting 2 wideouts have not dropped a single ball. Next up the rival Whalers. Need to keep up the pressure.

It seems as though in Jim's effort to fix the end of game logic, i fear that it thinks it is the end of game at the end of the half. I Had a similar situation in another league today we were losing 13-7 in the second quarter, we move the ball down to the 26 yard line, well within our kickers range to go for it and with 0.01 seconds left we do not kick the field goal and run it instead.

shiiiiiiiiit, we had every chance to win tonight, including 2 possessions in OT, but end up losing to Gainesville 23-17. Some positives in an 0-10 season though, as Sedrick Thompson finally lays off the pipe and rushes for 101 and a TD on 21 carries. Tom Skeen ran a nice two minute drive to tie it in the 4th Q. And I'm not sure if this is a positive, but our whole plan was to stop the run and make Anderson beat us through the air. We did stop the run, which is nice, but Anderson threw for 340 and 2 TDs. So hats off to him.

We win a slugfest. Sleet, rain and snow fell making it a nightmare. We bang out a 24-7 win.
My defense finally starting to get some turnovers. Whew.
DT Donnie Creekmur's replacement William Lake had 1 block, 2 hurries and 1 knockdown.
Offense sputtered due to harsh conditions. Interceptions dont want to go away.
It was a tough game this week against Camden.. back and forth for the first 45 minutes..
But then the 4th quarter started.
35 4th quarter points later it looks as if Camden just didn't show up for this game, when in reality, they led the game 17-10 before things went awry for them.
One key penalty did it, giving us new life after what would have been a 3 and out with a defensive holding call. We went 16 plays for a score after that, then turnovers and some nice running iced it for us.
Nice to return to above .500, nice to see the defense respond, still want more from the run defense though.
Well we've quietly played our way out of the playoff race with a 34-38 loss to North Liberty. Great game for WR Jerry Frye though, with 235 yards. We have a must win versus the division leader St. Paul next week. St. Paul is an early 5 point favorite at home. We shall see...

That was, easily, the most exciting game I've watched in a while. Frye with 235 yards receiving for Dakota and Bronson with 18/159 and 3 tds for North Liberty. That was an awesome display of two teams slugging it out. Great game, Smoove.
But the win didn't come without a price, though. We lost our corner and defensive leader, Erik "Its in the Game" Ackerman for the remainder of the regular season. Can't defense nearly as cavalier anymore.
