Guess we just had Frisco's number this year. Don't know how we are surviving all these injuries, but we just keep chugging along. Hopefully guys stop dropping like flies soon.

The frequency of injuries really has me questioning the fun I am having in this league.

It's not even a matter of "Oh no. Player x got injured. I am sure going to miss him." It's more like: "Damn another TE went down. Which non-TE that I think is a good depth player on my roster (to combat all these injuries) am I going to have to cut now so I can meet the minimum roster requirement for Tight Ends?"

Between having to make roster moves every week or two to meet these requirements and having to adjust my Use of Injured Players on Active Roster setting, and having to reshuffle my depth chart every week cause of injuries I am getting frustrated. I feel that the injuries are so high in this league that I end up trying to sit most of my Probable and Questionable players just for fear of either re-injury or them getting a worse injury. That doesn't sound like real NFL football to me.

I also usually keep my Use of injured players setting to 0 but I had to adjust it last week since my punter was probable and I didn't want to make him inactive and have to sign another punter for 1 week. That makes all the other players on my team have a higher chance of getting injured.

Anyways...I know that in my other league the injury setting is 50 and supposedly it is 100 in this league. Is there any appetite among the league members to make an adjustment to lower the setting? I would like to see a poll on this since we have had polls for many other league issues.

Feel free to start that poll, see what the league thinks. By experience the Injury setting lower reduces the severity of injuries but the frequency remains similar.
