I need everyone to vote, before making a decision, as we changed this no so long ago.

I think is is just a matter of Simulation vs Comfort and a pure matter of taste. While I understand that its frustrating to lose key players during preseason I personally just want the realism of Injurys possible. And the 100 Rate is already lower than the SP standard isnt it?

I voted No! based on the current schedule of simming pre season 3,4,5 together. If it was to go back to 100 then surely sims would have to be done seperataly for each indvidual pre season.

I voted yes because as FuriousExcavator said, realism, I like the game to be realistic. King Kosar brings up a good point though; I also voted to extend the preseason. I think more of the no votes would vote yes if the preseason gets extended

I prefer the injury setting at 50 or 75

FlexD too low in my opinion. After playing a lot of SP I set the rating to 140 and i am really comfortable with it. 100 is already holiday for me XD

This vote I'm more passionate about than the preseason schedule. I HATE injuries, most of my fun in this game comes from drafting players and developing them and seeing how their careers evolve. When those players suffer season ending injuries, albeit very realistic for sure, it sucks. If the real NFL could eliminate injuries they would in a heartbeat, and that shows with the last decade of rule changes. I find that football is such a wild, high variance game that there is more than enough good and bad luck involved without a punishing injury rate. I have voted each time to lower the injury setting, and ass I've failed two renovation votes and a relocation vote in the last 3 years, my bad turf is really starting to be bothersome.

Strategically speaking, I think the way I build my team makes me more competitive when the injury rate goes up because I always love to have developmental players so now that I'm deep into my team build II always have true depth, moreso than people who rely on star players and a bunch of roster fillers. Even my offensive stars have star backups :)

Finally I'd make the point that a higher injury setting affects those with busy lives due to work or families in an unequal way. I have no kids or obligations or anything I just work till 4pm and smoke weed the rest of the day, I can do all the football I want, but not everyone has that luxury and higher injury rates make it hard for them to stay invested if they start missing exports. So I do believe a lower injury setting helps with owner retention. That's my two cents :)

Matter of opinion, IMO 100 is to much. My personal preference is 50 to 75

If this league started over with a full crop of FOF8-generated players then I'd be more inclined to play with injuries turned up. But the in-season leftovers are still very much populated with pre-FOF8-level talent, which means they're all 30 rated and totally pointless. By enabling injuries in the preseason you're simply extending one of the worst parts of this game, which is meeting roster limits with completely useless players. I can play sp all day long and find starters available in the free agent pool all the way through the playoffs. In mp it's much more difficult, but even moreso when the talent pool hasn't been fully replenished with FOF8-quality players.

Obviously, if you bumped the injury setting up in preseason, you'd have to sim each week individually. Otherwise the AI would start destroying rosters. ;)
