Forgot to mention that I uploaded the Solecismic Award history this morning. Now you'll see two sets of awards in several places. DogBytes Awards are given out based on my own weighting system. Solecismic Awards are just the in-game ones.

These can be found on player cards, direct-linked from the main page, and they're also on the Team History page (all award winners for a team). I like the Team History ones the best.

BEN: I noticed on the game of the week screen I was getting alot of code all over the place. I don't know if it is because the season hasn't started yet or if it is really an actual problem.

First off... this is insane. Great work Ben. One of the coolest things to happen to the league, probably ever.

I need to get my new logos set up in game and on the website but if you get a shot could you change my colors to maroon and grey (for the Charlotte Knights).

The thing I'm looking forward to the most is players pictures. I think it's going to give us a whole new level of immersion. Does anyone know how I can figure out the player ID number so I can start sending Ben some pics?

I noticed that some of the career rankings on the player cards are incorrect.

For instance, Jay Nori has a career rating of 91.3. Inside the leaderboard box on his page, it says he ranks 22nd with a 71.1 rating.

Same things occurs with his YPA.

Hmmm, I checked Corey Lincoln to see if it was just a QB thing, but his seem fine.

Chief Parris has the same issues as Nori. Maybe, the QB spot requires a certain amount of seasons to correctly calculate?

Just go to his player card. The ID will be in the URL. For example:

Look up top, and you'll see that Skeen is 5665.

Yup. I'm confident that it works correctly. It's just not coded for preseason. I'll fix that this weekend.

Actually it turns out that this is an easy one for me to see what's going on. There are only 22 qualifiers for QBR, YPA, etc. at QB. The way the code works, if a guy is not found in the first 25 players, he is ignored. However, in this case, the counter is only at 22 when it's done checking players, so it assigns the player that it's looking at the QB Rating and YPA of the 22nd-best qualifier. In short, I didn't code for the possibility that there wouldn't be enough qualifiers. I'm going to handle this by simply lowering the threshold for qualifying a little. Right now it's at 1,920 pass attempts. I'm going to handle this for now by just dropping that to 1,500 attempts, which will give us enough qualifiers to solve that problem. We should have 25+ qualifiers after this season is over, and I'll re-raise the threshold then.

This could be happening for some other positions as well. The league with the fewest seasons this code has been run on has nearly nine seasons under its belt. I'll do the same thing if we notice issues elsewhere.
