Alright OSFL, let's focus:

on the first pick I went ahead and took the DT. I liked his run stopping ability and strength. His low volatility doesn't bother me any, and my scout had him as very underrated. Nice. I'll take a run stopper like him anytime.

So, who's next? Does Port City grab one of the grand DE's (I did consider grabbing one of these, but only briefly)

Focus: forget the spelling, forget the time problems, focus!!!!

I took a DE early in round 1 last year, so I have higher weights on other positions. It's an option, but I have a lot of holes to fill.

Maybe they will. NV is looking at trade offers and the draft is untimed right now so he has until 2 pm tomorrow. Hopefully the first round will fly by. With that said, I seriously doubt we will get to your pick by tomorrow morning.

ok, I made my pick.

I feel somewhat like the Raiders did last weekend, passing up guys in the same position that the game had rated higher, but I had Lofton rated the highest wide out. He's got good size, great strength, great speed, but crappy hands and he'll take a while to develop. Low volativity was also a factor.

Good pick. Can't really argue with those combine scores, not to mention the endurance and kick return abilities.

Fantastic pick. I wanted him REAL bad, but couldn't justify what it would cost to trade up. I had him as underrated, too.

Just a heads up to everyone, it is Derby day here in Louisville which is officially the biggest unofficial holiday in the world. With my new job I am either going to be busy schmoozing some asshole or being someone elses bitch, so I may or may not be sitting by the computer waiting with bows on for 1.18. That being said, as Pat will be sure to point out in a sarcastic PM, I will have my phone on me today and will be checking the forums and draft from there. I may even throw some one word trash talk out there. Who knows.
