A mediocre pre-camp draft turns into a mediocre post-camp draft. Biggest position battle will be for RB2 slot between the more versatile Edgar Pike and the better pure runner in Jorge El Nino (plus he has a cooler name).

1.7 - CB Jake Kennedy - 46/74 to 53/73 (+7/-1)
-Pleased with the increase in current. I bet he probably ends up in the 65-70 range. Obviously, a starter.
2.9 - TE Hugh Warren - 32/46 to 37/51 (+5/+5)
-Not surprised in the least with the increase. I thought he was the best TE in the draft. Starts right away.
3.30 - LB/DE Travis Pickerill - 22/49 to 26/50 (+4/+1)
He was drafted at OLB, where he was 16/38. I'm not sure where he will end up rating wise, but he could be a dominant pass rusher with potential ratings of 74 in both pass technique and strength.
4.14 - LB Shaun Farley - 31/53 to 35/51 (+4/-2)
Didn't want to see his potential go down. I drafted a LB here a few years ago, in the 4th round, rated very similar. Took a negative at TC, and ended up at like 35. Hopefully he isn't the same. He will start at SLB right away however.
5.9 - C Geoff Schacht - 27/50 to 31/50 (+4/0)
I feared he might take a hit at TC. Thankfully, he did not. He is my catcher of the future and provides some much needed depth.
6.3 - DT Dennis Westbrook - 25/34 to 26/34 (+1/0)
His run defense is zero. His play diagnosis is zero. But his pass rush ratings are pretty damn good.
6.12 - G Alex Cass - 18/43 to 19/40 (+1/-3)
Might be cut. Going to end up shitty.
7.7 - RB Darren Woodson - 30/48 to 31/44 (+1/-4)
Thought he was going to come in as a returner...likely cut.
7.11 - TE Richard Cook - 20/60 to 23/54 (+3/-6)
Took a huge ratings drop as I expected. I play a lot of two TE sets, so he will have a spot.

Probably one of my better drafts. I feel like I "nailed" my 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th round picks. My 4th rounder could end up a solid starter. My 6th-7th round picks, which I am normally good at, most will probably be cut in a season or two. Or less. Plus, I filled huge voids by landing a CB, TE, OLB, backup C, and pass rushers on the defensive line.
I'll give myself a B+.Last edited by Pat; 05-18-2009, 07:51 PM.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
