The next sim is FA-Stage 1. This stage is only for re-negotiations. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE NEW RENEGOTIATION RULES ARE IN EFFECT!!!

Renegotiations will only be allowed with player's in the last year of their contracts.

For the first and second violation of the rule, the owner will be given a warning and the contract will be voided. On the third violation, the contract will be voided and the commisioner has the option to take a draft pick. On the fourth violation, a draft pick will be taken and the commissioner will consider removing the owner from the league.

The 2014 Draft Class is now live. Owners in the NCFA may find a few surprises in the draft class.

NCFA is our Bowl Bound College Football League...you should join. It's a lot of fun and not a whole lot of work.

You need to go to User CP and join Group Membership for the OSFL I believe...then we can accept and you will be able to change your picture and your name will be in blue.

Many...it's a college league with 100+ teams. I think we have around 20 coaches. If you are interested it's the BBCF from Grey Dog Software. They have an online site where you can order and unlock the game.

1. I'd welcome another Big 12 North coach, but whatever floats your boat. You should check it out - BBCF is a much smoother, polished game than FOF (though it has its own problems, I suppose)

2. I propose we start using NCFA players for the draft pool. There are ways to export NCFA draft classes to FOF? or no?...might be tricky with the schedule, but it would definitely be very, very, *very* cool! It would also prevent 4 running backs from FSU in one class.

3. I see Paul Cannon is going the Graham Harrell route.

5. RB Billy Joe Jenness, Nebraska, looks like a Preston Freeman clone (down to height/weight? and even speed... I think)...haha. Is it a big deal to change some names around, or is it set? :D

There are a few NCFA guys in this years draft. It's the first year we've tried it and the commish did a great job.

Over time I'm sure it will evolve where we can have some more.

I'm curious as to how it works, actually. Is it manually changing names around? or were their "attributes" and abilities somehow imported in as well?

I see Cannon, Funk...Christopher Peters out of Iowa? rings a bell. Anyone else?

just kiddin'. I do have another question, by the way: when it says my player is injured for 10 weeks, what's that mean: he'll be back and ready to go for the summer, or he'll be out 10 weeks into the next season?

This first season was a test...most of the NCFA guys aren't that highly rated. If Miami had a QB graduate then he was Cannon. Maybe he's Tebow?

As for 10 weeks I believe the off season is a certain amount of weeks (double digit)...so he should be back.

I would quit immediately if this became the norm. The BBCF-->FOF import setup is horribly imbalanced and would screw up the player file long-term. I'm very curious as to what was done this year. If it's anything besides just changing names, it was a *huge* mistake. The league can get past it once, but if it happens regularly, it will *really* screw things up.
