From the Sim Might Be Late thread:

Thursday: I wont be able to run the sim until late Thursday night/maybe Friday because of work. Again the time for running the sim will still be 9 just in case I'm able to get the sim in Thursday night.

Saturday: Its 50/50 that I may be out of town on Saturday and will be unable to run the midweek. That leaves 2 choices: Skip the midweek and keep the game sim on Sunday or Push the midweek to Sunday and run the game sim on Monday. We can talk about this as we get closer to Saturday.

Do we need to have an alternate/backup simmer available for situations like this?

          No.

For how consistent Aaron is and has been, we should all relax. He even said in the "sim will be late thread," which has since been quoted here, that the sim might not be run until Friday.

          Today is Friday.

Yeah, I have no problem with this, especially given the warning.

Yeah, and why would you be so eager to start the year 0-1?

I'm simming it as we speak. I would love to have a backup simmer if anyone is interested. Would ease the workload for me.

For everyone, I never miss sims without giving a warning before hand. There will always be a note in the "Sim is going to be late thread" if I cant run the sim on time.
