  • Stepping Down as Commissioner at the End of the Season

    Hey Guys,

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I'm stepping down as OSFL commish at the end of the year. I find myself having less time to run sims because of my work schedule. My job have 3 big lawsuits coming up in the next few months so I would end up missing a bunch of sims and killing the momentum of the league.

I'm hoping that one of the 28 other owners in the league is willing to step up and run this great league. I'm willing to stay on to assist the new commish with any league issues or as a backup to run sims if necessary. I just dont have the time to do it full time anymore.

Aww man, I hate to hear that. A good commissioner always plays a large part in the success of a league. I'm a short-timer in the OSFL, but have really enjoyed it so far. I certainly appreciate the time and effort you have put into the league. Hopefully you'll still be able to stick around as an owner for the long run.

You say that as if I don't do anything else around here.

I like to consider myself the Commish of Wasting Time, General Sports Talks and Sports Betting. I have the most active league of them all.

That being said, I've already told Aaron that I would be willing to fill in till we find a suitable replacement. I don't think I'm the longterm answer, but I'm willing to help.

Linty runs a league, Clay helps run a league...I think those guys have enough on their plate.

Time for some one else to fill in long term.

I probably don't have time to run another league. I can, however, assist a new commish with setup, process, backup simming, etc.
