No injuries to speak of. Rookies played OK. 3rd string QB comes in and tosses 3 TD's in the 4th quarter. We lose the game. GG Port City.

Our 2nd straight bad loss. Once again QB Warren plays well (10/12, 107 yd) but 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles killed us. Also 11 total rushes is unacceptable. Now that we have our patch set we need to really work on our gameplan (if I only knew how).

Tough game, lots to learn from it. GG Vegas. And hey, no new injuries, yayy.
Good trends -
Defense is holding well, allowing only 3 and 16 points.
TE Rogers is a big part of the offense (20 catches, 197 yards)
Rushing game isn't absymal.
Bad trends -
Zilch for scoring offense. 7 points last week, 3 points this week (TD was from a punt return).
Turnovers - gave up three in each game, only one takeaway total.

2-0 start to the preseason which of course means absolutely nothing, but some thoughts:
3rd string QB Lorenzo Humpries has taken total advantage of extended playing time in the two games; 14/21 for 208 yards, 2 tds and no ints so far; I'm giving him the start this week against Lake County and I'm interested to see what he can do. I wouldn't call him the clubhouse leader for the job but if he doesn't slip up in the next two games he'd have a great chance. That's how poor our QB situation is.
UDFA FS Broderick Francis impressed in game two with 10 tackles and half a sack while holding his own in coverage. He's not truly that good and it's probably too early to start him, with our pathetic safety situation he'll probably be starting at FS week 1.
Outside of an injury to a starting guard, I love our OL; our DL; our CBs, our WRs, our RB situation, and I'm content with our linebacking corps. But due to stupidity, our QBs and safeties are terrible. Hope I can mask the weaknesses and make a decent run in a tough division this year.Charlotte Knights - OSFL
