I had a virus attack recently that left my laptop unable to log on to windows (It just logs in then immediately logs off before I even see the desktop). I haven't been able to fix the situation despite replacing the userinit.exe file as I have seen recommended on various internet software support forums.. So I think I have to wipe and start fresh. It might take me a couple days, but I'll try to be back up and running by this weekend.
