I initially had a problem uploading my stage file where the "uploaded" date wasn't updating. Are the other new owners having the same problem?

I can think of only two ways this can happen, assuming that they actually did upload their exports.

1. You didn't successfully copy all of the files from the server.
2. There are teams on AI control that don't belong on AI control.

#1 above could happen because of a simple "hang" on the server. I always double-check to make sure the FTP program completed the download. Every now and then it doesn't.

If you are going to resim this, everyone needs to be aware that a new draft class will be generated. Don't bother studying this one until a decision is made.

I would suggest a re-sim as it only is it not a stage where GM's can affect other teams.

Just re-load the file from the previous stage, re-do any trades you might have processed, import the files again, and go. Now, if you've already gotten rid of the files, people will need to export again.

Hm. I already studied the top part of the draft class. Not that I would be bothered by a re-sim, since that did seem to be a pretty good option considering what happened, but it's a bit sad to learn that a new class will be generated. It is/was looking like a pretty intriguing and talent-rich class, too, maybe unusually so (short memory, but I don't remember the last few classes being like this). A bit torn, though, because I do think resim would be a good idea as this last stage was a pretty big deal and nobody would be really hurt by it.

Thoughts? I know the NCFA has had some controversy with resims, though this would seem to fall under the 'technical difficulties' category.

yeah sorry guys it was a good class, its not that big a deal about the summer league more the franchise thing if you could just put harvey beattie on my team at the franchise price (1 yr deal think it was 8.6 mil) id be ok with monty skipping summer league

Alright, since we only had three teams with problems, I'm just going to keep the sim as is.

The draft class is already out, and some have already exported for the next sim so I'll stay with the current sim.

What we'll do for the three teams that didn't get the guys in, just send me the Franchise list and we'll keep them off limits... as for the guys going to Summer League, I believe it only speeds up their unmasking time by a bit, so you aren't missing a ton. I know this will disappoint some, but it'll be what's best for the league.

I apologize for any thing that screwed up your team, but I want to try to keep the league moving.

I think that's fair. Just let the new owners post their intended franchise tags and everyone else can stay clear on FA offers and we keep moving on.
