I'm always conflicted if I should do these things before or after TC. A lot of people do it before,
If you make the move right now, then you won't muddle TC. Of course if you wait until the sim just before TC then things are definitely muddled.
Chuck, I think the thing about my center was that it looked like his endurance bar was not supported by his combine, and that his lower pass blocking bar made sense.

That's interesting. You can't see if a player can lose or gain weight until the sim right before TC. I'd like to have Slaten drop some, but it looks doubtful that he will be able to. What do you mean by 'less of a hit before their very first TC'?
You're probably right on the bars. That is a sensible way to think about it.

It doesn't always happen but sometimes if you wait, it seems you may have more of a hit.

2 - 19 Emmanuel Logan DT - 22/38
2 - 26 Kendall Downs ILB - 26/55
3 - 10 Melvin Brunell P - 90/94
3 - 18 Skip Harper TE - 26/54
3 - 20 Tito Reese G - 27/55
4 - 17 Carlos Melnick ILB - 15/30
5 - 16 Jerald Chandler DE - 19/38
6 - 15 Arnold Plummer ILB - 12/32
7 - 14 Marshall Joyner DT - 13/44
Logan converts to RDE and "may increase in ratings". Similarly for Melnick who converts to WLB. And man, I thought my punter was good but had no idea. You guys still think he was a reach at 3.10???

Not sure what to think of the lower part of my draft but time will tell.
1. Terrance McCumber RB 61/77 - Needed a good back to help the offense and I feel like I got one here. He should be piling up yards for years for my offense.
2. Matt Holmes LT 29/60 - Also needed to bolster my offensive line at LT and with time this tackle should do the job
3. Juan McCammon OLB 22/48 - Was wanting to get more options with my linebackers and I'm hoping with his size and speed that he will turn into a solid player at SLB
4. Fernando Lackey ILB 21/45 - Took to be a run stopper on the inside but has the size to move to DE if he doesn't work out in the middle though he will probably be a back up there.
5. Jake Lowe WR 22/48 - Took a flyer here hoping to upgrade at WR. Picked him as his bars indicated good hands and the ability to get downfield
5. Norbert Warkenstein OLB 20/43 - Decided to grab another LB here to see if I could find a diamond in the rough and have some bodies for special teams
6. Archie Prior FB 16/45 - Was starting to reach here and picked this FB because his run blocking looked real good and his pass catching okay, and he was a home town boy from Texas Tech, just 45 miles from here
7. Dan Bullock TE 22/40 - Couldn't find an Illinois player (I graduated there) that I liked and his bars said he might be a decent run blocker and adequate pass catcher, plus another body for special teams.GM - Davenport Brawlers BLB

1.7 Chris Lowe 6' 212 FS Virgina Tech 56/69 moved to CB 54/77 i hope he can lose a few pounds. 4.35 40 time 2nd fastest in the combine 2nd highest position score should be the anchor of my secondary for years to come
2.6 Mo Lyon 5'10 192 FS Cal 33/69 could be a bit of a bust as his VERY low intel (4) and his high volatility 36% developed could be the day 1 starter
3.5 Tony Christmas 5'10 186 CB S.Carolina 28/53 didnt interview him kinda went on the combines so well see how this turns out as Spock said he will be the most talked about 37/37 CB
4.7 Peter Carlisle 6'3 231 P Delaware 47/79 DAMN chuck D he took my punter so i grabbed Carlisle maybe a bit early but as i say no such thing as a reach in mp kinda glad i got him tho hes from Hawaii
5.6 Harold Talbot 6'1 209 QB Florida 0/37 yes 0 big fat ZERO 1% developed damn near 0 sense rush. ive read stories about guys like this and maybe MAYBE i have the team to work around this hopefully i wont have to find out
6.5 Gabe Russ 6'3 255 TE Georgia Tech 23/43 my scout had him a VU total pass catching TE cant block to save his life he will help a lot in the 2te passing gameplan i have prepared
7.7 Bucky Perkins 6'3 206 WR NC State 24/42 gonna have to cut him i drafted him for work i didnt realize he clashes with my WR group leader maybe ill move him to safety
looks ok so far im more than a bit concerned about lowe's drop after the switch

Here is how my draft is looking pre-tc
Round 1 - QB Ethan Lepsis 25/59
Round 2 - DE Cornelius Fletcher 33/57
Round 3 - WR Andy Osterland 31/63
Round 4 - DE Mo Taylor 15/56
Round 5 - QB Ed Wilson 10/57
Round 6 - SS Kim Brahms 23/61
Round 7 - DT Herman Clements 26/51
I was just wondering how some of the vets thought I did in the draft. It looks pretty good to me. I think I might have 5 starters. I was really happy with Osterland and with Brahms where I got him. Also Ed Wilson will most likely be on the trade block going into next off-season if anyone is interested.New Chicago Reapers GM

1.21 CB Jose Battle (36/74) - Since the retirement of Desmond Gougeon, we have been lacking a shut down corner. We weren't sure what would be left when the 21st overall pick came up, but were glad to see that Battle was still available. Look for him to start from day 1.
2.22 RT Earnest Baze (23/64) - With our two stall worth tackles getting older, it was time to look for their replacement. Baze has the potential to be a solid RT for us in the future. He was unable to show up at the combine due to a late season injury in college, but we expect him to make a full recovery and be able to perform like he did in his game film.
3.21 CB Leslie Floyd (30/52) - Yes, we were bad last season in the secondary and Floyd should help add some more depth. He may see time in the nickel or dime, plus he can return kicks.
4.22 WR John Odom (22/49) - Odom has good speed and we hope he can be a deep threat as a 4th receiver this season.
5.21 RB Oliver Grieb (21/25) - This was a pick by our scouting department (auto-pick) and was not endorsed by our GM. Grieb will not even receive a contract.
6.22 SS Jonathan Merola (15/31) - Merola may make the squad, but has some work to do to even be on the active roster.
7.21 RG Justin Nealy (8/42) - Project o-lineman who will not see time this season barring something disastrous. We would like to see him develop into a decent backup in the next two to three years.OSFL - Anchorage Gladiators

Lepsis should be a high quality starter from the looks of it, but he may struggle early on. I think he will likely be one of the top 2 QBs in this draft and was a solid first selection given the value of a strong QB in FOF.
I'm not as enthused about Fletcher, but he should be solid and startable with his strength. I think the DE taken after him was better value, but he may prove me wrong.
Your 3rd through 6th rounders all look like they will not quite be as good as advertised, but none are really terrible picks. I like Mo Taylor the most out of the bunch, but I don't foresee any of them being big gainers come training camp.
Clements in the 7th was a good value pick, and maybe your best value selection given where he was drafted. He is undersized, but has pass rush ability and is fairly agile, and might even creep a little. Nothing in his combine says he is a bust to me.

Fletcher - I'm pretty high on Fletcher. Definitely a toss-up between he and Kerr, but I would've taken Fletcher too.
Osterlund - I can't imagine those numbers hold, he looks to be a -8 camp. Hope I'm wrong.
Taylor - probably scrub, but at 11% developed, may have something.
Wilson - scrub
Brahms - excellent value for a 6th, I think. Probably takes a -5 in camp, but still useful.
Clements - scrub, but fine for a 7th.
I'd say two quality starters in Lepsis & Fletcher. Osterlund looks like an upgrade for your WR, but he'll probably level out to a WR3/4. Brahms, same for the defensive backfield. Taylor, Wilson & Clements probably hang on until you can upgrade.
Not gospel, I just like talking about drafts. :)
