I just realized that my first game is against Utah... A nice test against our division rival. Looking forward to the results.

Me too. This'll be interesting. Must say....I'm scared.

I still need to make two cuts. Man, I do not want to make cuts :( I like all my players.

Opening at Anchorage here. Doesn't get much tougher, or more crucial. We swept 'em last year, but that whole late-season collapse was very un-Gladiator-like. Not expecting a cakewalk here.

I'm locked and loaded. However, just in CASE my export is bungled, I want to make sure there aren't any accidental releasing of players I don't want released. My final two cuts are WR Bennie Barlow, and DT J.J. McDonald

Had a problem in another league where probably about 4-6 guys I didn't want released, got CPU released for me because I messed my exports up. Think I figured out the problem, but I'm paranoid now o_o

We're 21 and 5 all time versus the Hitmen, and we haven't lost to them since week 15 of 2012 (my only loss to them since taking over in Camden), but this isn't the same old Brooklyn we're used to.

The new ownership has decided to take the rather radical steps of actually signing thier rookies and not drafting yet another offensive tackle with yet another top 5 pick. Heck, they didn't even pick in the top five this year. They still have some holes to fill and are in need of some depth, particularly in the secondary where it looks like they'll be starting two rookie corners (which does me a fat lot of good as a running team), but things are looking up in Brooklyn.

Don't get me wrong, the AC East is still my division, at least until someone takes it from me. For a time I thought that team might be Boston, but they're stuck back in AI control and salary cap hell to boot. Our old rivals in South Maryland are getting better, but still look to be a step behind in terms of overall talent.

So that leaves the Hitmen, the losingest team in league history, as our primary rivals for the division crown. And tonight is the first game against our new-old rivals.

            Looking forward to it.
