Last year we were 8-8, I think. This year ... Boone has shown he has a lot of growing up to do, and I mean a LOT. But I am nervous to try and let him sit another year, because FOF does not work like real life. I may as well hand him the keys but if I do, I can't help but think I'm liable to go 6-10. I think the rest of the team has made some strides, but starting over at WR/QB means we'll take some big hits.
I'll be more optimistic than that and say 7-9. And tying for first in the division ;)Last edited by Aston; 04-15-2011, 08:59 AM.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

I will be optimistic and say another 8-8 season. But that's only because this division does not feature a very dominant team and we have a solid head coach. The draft was a good one this year, but some of the players are still really raw.
On the other hand, I am not too concerned with our record. The key is to keep bringing in solid young players and maybe doing something meaningful next season.

After a rocky 4-12 campaign last year, the Maniacs find themselves in transition to a new defense such that the outlook for this coming year is rather dim. Still, it shouldn't be too difficult to have a better record than last year. 6-10 is within reach, but 8-8 would certainly be nice to see.
The biggest question is do we have the pieces to play Columbus competitively? We shall see.

My team got a lot older and we lost a couple guys, so I don't see a repeat of 14-2. I'm just aiming for playoffs and hopefully the first playoff victory in team history. I overachieved in my rookie year of multiplayer, but I'm hopeful this team will finish no worse than 10-6.

12-4 last year, 10-6 this year.
We didn't have any retirements of note, but DE Randy Bryant ascending to leadership screwed the hell out of my defensive front chemistry.
With two new human controlled teams in my division I'm no longer going to be leading the league in gimmie games per season, figure that'll cost me at least one win, maybe two. Yuma and Columbus on the schedule (although I finally get to play the Catfish at home) will be another two losses. Then figure two or three more games where we just make more mistakes than the other team.
