1.15 wow really need to get out of the 1st half of the draft.... Alfred "the butler did it" Morison WR Nevada at 6' 198 not a huge guy but with the 2nd best bench he will look to be a go to guys especially over the middle should be an excellent safety blanket for our 4th round pick. he may not be a beast, but with his good agility (see YAC) he WILL be an animal all but 1 blue score and the 2nd highest drill score. low volatility 5! and 26% developed. looks like we have a winner

    <a href="http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/?action=view&current=MontyLester2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/MontyLester2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

3.13 OLB Monty Lester Wake forest at 6'4 252lbs huge man skipped the combine but a blue sole and drill score and being 35 developed makes taking him in the 3rd round not too muck of a risk high intelligence and play diagnosis and good coverage skills fits into my scheme well. should be my opening day starter

    <a href="http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/?action=view&current=BuddyFoley.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/BuddyFoley.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

4.12 Buddy Foley QB Notre dame 6'2 233 supreme athlete (red) 4.51 40 time (second fastest) 3rd best agility time could be a running QB. to go with his good not great bars only 2 bad things 7 reps? (really) and his 98 volatility (ouch) meh 4th round pick good risk reward guy

    <a href="http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/?action=view&current=TitoJones.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/TitoJones.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

5.16 Tito Jones Tito Jones LSU S/CB a bit smallish 5'9 but smart blue scores for his sole and position drill, good hands nice big INT bar could be a good Nickle?Dime guy

    <a href="http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/?action=view&current=HarrisMaple.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/HarrisMaple.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

6.15 Harris Maple PR/KR from tiny Winona State. could contribute in the passing game tho in the slot or the 5WR package doubtful tho with his green (30) drill score

    <a href="http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/?action=view&current=OrlandoDouthard.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/strickzilla/OrlandoDouthard.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

7.14 Orlando Douthard CB Kansas State good INT bar and 43 position drill (just missed blue by 2 points) may not make the team because i have Chuck Norris in my secondary
my best draft i think got morrison and lester 2 keys to my team and lester in teh 3rd best pick ever he was a combine skipper but his size and bars couldnt go wrong in the 3rd

        2022 draft

Well i traded away most of this draft for Frodo lets make some chicken salad shall we?

        3.2 Martin Randle DE USC 6'5 302

Projected 1st rounder fell all the way to the 3rd, hell be reunited with his former running mate Leo Shepard (last years 4th round selection). his mediocre combines are what led to his fall, if he can perform like his draft position hell be more than serviceable for a 3rd rounder. hopefully he can lose a few pounds and become a pass rusher

        6.2 Kendall Arians DT Marist 6'1 287

Smart kid (98 intell) with a nose for the ball he should be able to make plays he will push 2nd year DT Earnest Mcquaig for pt he and Big Daddy Barett will be the future up the middle

          2022 pre tc

Martin Randle DE 31/61 well looks like the 1st round scouting was on point but tc will prove it out

Kendall Arians DT 12/57 hopefully he ends 40ish from a 6th rounder would be great

          and our final pick

          7.4 Kim Bergen LT 6'5 312 Auburn pre t/c 8/41

Pass blocking specialist definitely a long term project

Butch "The Great" Gatski pre 17/56 post 18/48 looks to be a possession guy but with his 0 endurance he wont be on the field much

Kim Bergen LT pre t/c 8/41 post 13/43 nice especially for a 7th a good project to protect frodo's backside

Martin Randle DE pre 31/61 post 34/56 well now i know why he fell but in the 3rd i still think its good value

Kendall Arians DT pre 12/57 post 16/50 really good value in the 6th

positive draft all positive movement and frodo went up to 40/70 all in all a promising start to 2022

cant do much worse than i did last year

                        2023 draft

a intrestign draft to be sure defensive talent galore and suprisingly i missed mot of them i think

                        1.24 Chris Di Pietro 6'1 221 Indiana MLB 34/72

will move inside after hitting the weights 5 blue combines great in pass coverage every down LB. not much of a pass rusher but looks to be a solid tackler

                        2.23 Burt Shepherd 5'11 242 Duke TE 43/62

FB in college the switch shows him to be 47/67 so lots of upside bit disappointed in his BPR bar with his 4.68 40 time id have thought it would be better it will be intresting to see how Winston Gredzinski turns out as he also looks to be moved to TE

                        3.15 J.R. Ackerman 6'3 212 Alabama K 28/54

kickoff specialist and hopefully the future full time kicker very much a reach

                        4.14 Everett Sarbanes 6' 327 DT Washington 26/41

combine skipper but a vu by my scout i just need him to be stout in teh rotation as Allen rose will see more time at DT this year. certainly not the answer at dt but he will be in the mix definately and upgrade from McQuaig

                        4.25 Luke Sadler 5'9 224 OLB Howard 22/53

not sure what i was thinking here but he actually looked not half bad in game maybe i got him so Frodo will have somone he can look in the eye. in any even looks to be a serviceable backup and a affinity guy

                        5.13 Jerome Kreitzer 6'0 198 WR Cincinati 18/23

bit of an experiment 60 bpr bar makes him #2 on the team in that catagory well see what he can do since were using a lot more 5wr sets hell get some targets

                        6.18 Dean McGregor 6'4 256 OLB Arizona 15/44

4.61 40 amazing athalete good in coverage may convert him to DE gotta find some room for a guy with his size and speed

                        7.17 Warren Woodard 5'8 185 WR Cal 22/59

i got somone frodo can look down on in the huddle! mainly a ST guy but he has good hands so hell see some work in the passing game as well as a 4th WR. hes got some "shake" just not a threat to take it to the house. he will soon replace the disgruntled Eric Flynn

all in all not really happy with this draft Di Pietro may or may not be movable to MLB if he cant put on weight didnt find the DT of the future and im praying Shepard works out at TE too may what if's maybes and i hopes i give my self a C for this one

Kreitzer and Woodard were on my radar. That FB to TE conversion looks like quite a find, strick.

1.24 Chris Di Pietro 6'1 221 Indiana SLB 34/72 post 42/72 glad he didnt drop however hes too light to make the move to MLB ill have to play him out of postion and keep giving him protien shakes

2.23 Burt Shepherd 5'11 242 Duke TE 43/62 post 47/62 made the switch ok

                            3.15 J.R. Ackerman 6'3 212 Alabama K 28/54 post 27/45 wow crapped the bed on this one

4.14 Everett Sarbanes 6' 327 DT Washington 26/41 post 28/38 well ill throw him out there and see what he does

                            4.25 Luke Sadler 5'9 224 OLB Howard 22/53 post 25/45 back up

5.13 Jerome Kreitzer 6'0 198 WR Cincinnati 18/23 post 20/26????? with his bpr he could be a weapon in th 5wr set

6.18 Dean McGregor 6'4 256 OLB Arizona 15/44 post 19/44 looks to be solid

7.17 Warren Woodard 5'8 185 WR Cal 22/59 post 24/51 his ST bar will keep him around could work his way into the mix

UFA Terrance Gunderson 6'1 241 MLB USC 18/46 an affinity guy straight run defender

another draft and well well see only 5 picks but quality over quantitiy...i hope

                              Bernard " Captain" Kirk 6'5 289 DE Oregon 1.9 30/77

cant miss guy 3 red combines including 34 on the bench, with his size and strength seriously considering a move to DT hes more of a 3-4 guy but hopefully the 4.67 40 time and some weight loss will translate into a fearsome pass rusher. Hell see time all across the front almost the same guy as Allen Rose so hope his upside is just as good

on the other side Erik Norton 6'5 283 DE Ole Miss 2.8 30/60

Bookend DE for the other side of Kirk another huge guy who we'll try to trim down to bring up his PR ability, in spite of his size very much a finesse guy compared to Kirk with a respectable 29 reps on the bench hell definitely play right away

                              Desmond Castillo 6'2 213 P/Holder Miss. State 3.7 58/69

punter nuff said the 4 blue combines and no 4th round pick is why he went this high but apparently not too high as he was coveted by others. could he be the next Johnny Goldenhammer, or will he be another Castillo?

                              Rusty Benton 6'1 220 WR North Carolina 6.7 19/28

speedster 4.46 40 time and good size make him a big play threat with all the injuries at WR last year its always good to have a spare

                              Johnny Dole 6'2 286 DT West Virginia 7.9 16/45

affinity guy may push last years 4th round pick Everett Sarbanes out

This was a very nice draft for you. Two clear weapons in that DE and that punter and I think that WR could be a find, too.
