  • Ac West 2022 outlook

the new season starts with the Ac west looking like one of, if not the, toughest conference. last seasons division champ denver has continued to improve last seasons selection of Cornelius Jeffords gave them a outstanding running game and the off seasons acquisition of Mel Beisel will make the passing attack explosive. Mark them down for 11 wins and another division crown.

Utah will contend with their potent offense but as the saying goes defense wins championships, they may contend for a wildcard spot and have a lot of fun games to watch. all this however hinges on a return to form for Randy Boone, altho last season was nothing to sneeze at. but if boone can have another season like 2020 utah will make some noise winning 10 or so games and being in the wildcard hunt but no division crown for the bees

The monsters had their best finish in 5 seasons finishing 9-7 and they look to try and move to the head of the pack in the west. improving their front 7. however the secondary remains somewhat suspect, and facing the the pass happy bees and the revamped denver passing attacks LA can only pray that the pass rush can wreak havoc, if not it will be a long season for the Monsters. They will make a fight of it finishing with 8 wins but not making the playoffs

Phoenix is in a bit of turmoil, after last seasons debacle dure to the injury to Tom Skeen that lead to rookie QB Rico Oglethorpe being thrown to the dogs and going 2-9 in 11 starts. Phoenix has brought Skeen back for 1 last palyoff run but it will be a tall order as the west has gotten better and phoenix is trying to transition. the riders want to get back into the post season but it will be a tall order the riders will probably not win more than 9 making the post season a long shot.

      No respect! ;)

Seriously, though, Denver's roster is a fine piece of work. Looks like it's Denver's year.

Looks like Phoenix and Utah both put on some kind of show in week 1.

so as the season winds down we look at what has happened Utah has run away with not just the division but the league with their new found running game and their underrated D. denver started a bit flat but showed it will continue to be a contender as the look to secure a wildcard birth.

#1 defense in the OSFL says hello!

Hehe, I am just as surprised as you are Every defense I scout makes me feel inadequate. Including this week.

And I'm just getting this comment in before the inevitable drop in the rankings we'll see in the last two weeks.
