  • New Management at Pearl Harbor

    hello

I would like to introduce myself as the new owner of the Defenders.
My name is Terry and I am an active sim manager around the internet world. I've been playing FOF for a few months and fell in love with the deep detail of this game and an active community here will make it that much more fun.
The goal is to build up a team that can compete and hopefully one day beat out the competition but there are many obstacles along the way. For one, a rookie quarterback named Kurt Jackson is introduced starting games against some of the fiercest rivals in the league past the halfway point of the season. If the team runs out of patience with the 2nd rd pick, they might need to look elsewhere. The loss of the former 1st rd pick of 2019 Terry Sheldon means they will not be re-signing him and looking to build in another direction the defense. With much room under the cap, Pearl Harbor will attempt to compete with the few games remaining and re-evaluate moves for next season. With talents RB Bruce Rodriguez, C Lasica and SILB Callis ownership will need to build around them and hope for a brighter future.

Welcome to the league, Terry. Looking forward to seeing Pearl Harbor climb from the depths and get back in the thick of the Western Division.

I have no idea how Bruce Rodriguez does what he does. He ran all over me in the preseason, then we faced in the reg season, and he did it again.

              Welcome!
We'll be there soon enough. Uncle Rico's being held together by duct tape and bailing wire at the moment. He probably hangs them up after this season and we enter the wandering the desert phase.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're taking over because my defensive gameplan against you earlier this season stunk and I almost lost. That shouldn't happen against the AI, but I have no freaking idea how to gameplan against the AI anymore.

Ahem. Anyway, best of luck. Get a few drafts under your belt and make the team yours.

What a thrilling finish in week 14
Kurt Jackson driving 67 yards with 1:22 remaining and no timeouts to win by 1 over Los Alamos after K Raymond Bruce missed a 47 yd kick to close out the game.
What a great first win for the new management at PH.
