OLB Sammy Fischer 43/85 = Even though Jumbo Samson had been the Defensive Rookie of the Year he wasn't developing any further and just didn't have what it took beyond his pass rushing skills and Fischer is just a stud and his ratings show it. Doesn't hurt that he's from the GM's alma mater either!
QB Austin Cash 18/48 = Hoping to find our QB of the future here and don't know what we've got. His numbers looked good and my scout had him very underrated so I'm hoping his numbers will go up. Dillon is aging rapidly, Jones has holes in his game though he is popular, and Glenn just never developed into what we hoped would be our QB of the future when drafted him in the 2nd round several years ago. Hope this pick pans out as we gave a lot to get it.
WR Preston Chandler 23/39 = Looking for the replacement for Pierce, who wasn't going to sign with us and we gave up to get Cash in the 2nd. Has good BPR numbers but only time will tell if this guy has a long term future or is a stop gap
G Ryan Cottrill 22/52 = Has good blocking and strength bars though endurance isn't where you would want it. If he develops he should prove to be a capable back up at the guard position and may have enough size to fill in at tackle in an emergency.
WR Brandon Horner 17/36 = Grasping at straws in the WR ranks. Had good bars at BPR and punt returns so he may end up making it as a special teamer if nothing else
K O.J. Kim 45/74 = Scout had him at very underrated and I was surprised he made it to the 7th round so we grabbed him. I've got a good kicker in Raymond Bruce but he's missed some crucial field goals in the last couple of years and is starting to age. Since we are looking to rebuild and get younger I believe this is our kicker of the future. Besides, who doesn't want someone named O.J. on their team.
