New look, new name, new logo but the same manager, the same city and the same players!!

The Ohio Valley Showboats will be named from now Ohio River Sharks!! And IŽll try to rebound the last seasons and be in the elite sooner than later!!

Starting with the OC position, IŽm not happy with the development of the last season and grabbed Travis Wheeler to turn the things and work in the development of any section in the offensive side!

W. Andrews QB 81/81 will grab the franchise tender for second straight year and will hate us forever... But baby I try to retain him when the season starts with a luctrative new contract!!

K. Giles RB 30/36 will go to the summer league and work hard to be more effective and show us how can grow in order to bump from his Offensive Rookie of the Year start!!

RFA - QB M. Peterson 17/49 --> I give him a new two year deal in this time he can show his growth and If can be a good future option if stay rising or be the next back-up during years.

RFA - FB B.J. Lake 24/37 --> 2 more years to show us his real value out of the back-field catching the ball covering K. Giles

FA - FB L. Firth 14/26 --> Blocking FB much than needed to open lanes for our RBs after the retirement of our all-pro W. Sailer. We try to found something during the TC and Pre-season and cut the worst

WR - J.B. Erickson 34/40 --> Bust 1st rounder re-negotiate his rookie deal to decrease the cap-hit and took less money... He can stay in the team playing in Special Teams but low prospect catching the ball... Damn it... IŽll cut his salary year after year

RFA - C R. Brown 26/41 --> Key Center Back-up, two more years of being at least decent if Douglas come down

UFA - OT R. Jaster 34/42 --> Only a back-up who can play starter and give time to the next wave of rookie linemans to grow and adjust to the Pro level

OLB - M. Shapiro 16/39 --> Big time Bust too, great crap from me, my owner hates me for that player obtained in late FA as a Rookie Free Agent he falls to the hell and his salary will be cutted in order to stay in the team two more years and not kill our cap room (Leave 600K in the 1st, 1,5M in the 2nd, and 2M in the 3rd)

UFA - CB J. Rainwater 39/39 --> The predilect soon comes to Ohio again after be drafted by the Showboats now the Sharks sign him in a two year deal to relive his young years and help the secondary.

UFA - CB J. Heise 35/35 --> Veteran and leader of the seconday who plays for us the lasts games of the season and same that bring some estability to the last line of the deffense we bring him back in order to maintain this estability and build around him, maybe not a starter but we need one leader that give us peace inside the locker-room.

RFA - SS C. Perkins 43/43 --> HeŽs the starter right now (at least until the draft) and after a big demand during the season for a long-big-deal he cut his petitions in order to stay with the new Sharks. I trust in him and now have 2 years to show me why heŽve inside for his big deal

* Round 1 Pick 4 --> CB Les Holliday 61/81 --> HeŽs fast, agile, strong and have a stud combine, one of these players that you need to be competitive at the next level! We have a ton of problems downfield and heŽll be the starter since arrive at TC!! Wish you the best!

* Round 2 Pick 4 --> FB Kendrick Middleton 43/55 > Big investment for him, need a devastating big FB in the inside to put the deffenders away of Kevin Giles and give him a hole to exploit his quick feets and speed! Anxious to see him in the camp and see what happens!!

* Round 4 Pick 9 --> FS Ed Talley 12/24 --> Underrated guy who can turn around in camp and fight for the starting job with H. Webster! I saw something really special in his combine and his Interception bar at the scout is amazing!

* Round 4 Pick 19 --> DE Aaron McElreath 21/40 > Boom or bust player in this trade-up, a high motor DE dedicated mostly to stop the run! See what happens in camp after be rescued for the 5th rounder before!

* Round 5 Pick 25 --> WR Quinn Sutton 13/40 > We drafted him for only one reason, Go Streak routes game after game, amazing speed and BPR prospect, with a little glue in his hands will be a huge headache for opposite defensive players!

* Round 6 Pick 9 ---> OT Robert Blair 12/31 --> Another complemental player with good combines who can show something boom or bust when the TC beggins!

* Round 7 Pick 9 ---> RB T.J. Davidson 31/38 --> 3rd RB adquired to gain depth at the position has a elite volatility who can turns in a fantastic football player!

* Round 7 Pick 21 --> OLB Jim Craig 12/49 ---> Another depth player with great "fake" bars, see what happens after camp but We donŽt expect too much about him!

Veterans hit

The real value of this camp is not having age hits and two good surprises, WR Shane Littlefield goes to 33/33 and are +7/+7 better since he was a rookie. And the volatility hit took by OLB Kendall Woods put him as a solid 53/53 right now. Also WeŽve ILB D. Graham and 2nd year DT H. Perkins growing a little, I expect inmediate change in the deffensive side of the ball.

K. Giles is unmasked and 32/32 is nothing special for a RB but after winning a Offensive Rookie of the Year award I give him some credit...

Star TE Kelly Chervet 69/69 fall into a severe depression... Nothing to say about, seems that his wife took their childrens out of the house... How many time this kind of injury should affect the players??
