  • Ohio River Sharks 2033

    Well is time to face the new game with a lot motivation and we must need to forget this season, the worst in my ternure in the OSFL, also 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks gone to Waco so Rob you got an excellent deal...

    1st of all, name the MVPs of the 2032´s season.

    Offensive Shark of the Year 2032

    RB Clyde Grauman --> He´s the heart and soul of our franchise right now, 5.02 YPC and 1.261 Yards but only 3 touchdowns in 251 attemps, also grabbed 520 Yards and 2 scores with his hands, career high in targets / receptions and career low in rushing yards and hand-offs, we really need him in the future so limit his hits will be a priority for us. Despite this fact he managed 1.781 Yards from Scrimmage and 5 Touchdowns only 27 yards shy of his own record. We vastly need to improve our OL in order to make his life more easy.

    Defensive Shark of the Year 2032

    CB Les Holliday --> He played his best season with 86.0 PDpct 6 Interceptions and 11 Passes Deflected, add 52 Tackles and you´ve the best D effort of the year, we finally squeezed the best from him in a Cover 2 M2M coverage in isolated matches with the best WRs in the country, Hansen, Upshaw, Booker, Hudson... And he shut-down or did an excellent job over they.

    Special Teammer Shark of the Year 2032

    WR Wally Golalic --> Just one name over the table here, he displayed his bests averages in PR and KR with 12.3 and 33.3, I always had excellent positions thanks to him and his returning team but didn´t capitalize it due our weak Offense. We expect a lot from him again next year in his contract year, he only counts $ 880.000 in our cap and is one of the best role players in the team.

    Veteran Shark of the Year 2032

    Well I need to choose between C Rich Douglas and MLB Donald Graham, both played an excellent year in his positions and take care of his weak or youngsters fellas but only one can win.

    C Rich Douglas --> He played like a better young version of himself, despite don´t have all the oportunities to shine executed 41% of his 78 Blocks asigned (Top-15 between the league´s starters) to pave the ground for Grauman and Middleton and the most important, protected Galligher or Chustz in every of the 477 passing snaps that he played in the season and didn´t give a sack (Only lineman with more than 388 passing snaps to do this in 2032). Excellent effort for this 11th Year veteran. I´m proud of him, he´ve two more years remainning with us and will take a pay discount to give us salary cap.

    Sharks retired

    * RB Will Cleghorn -->
    After 12 seasons full season in the OSFL wearing sharks slave 2nd all-time Ohio River runner in yards, carries, touchdowns and 100 Yard games decides to retire. He serves me very well since I arrive here running the football or tackling in special team like in his lasts years. Take care buddy!

    * DE Everett Doyle --> Undrafted FA from Iowa who spents 9 Years in the OSFL, playing in only 50 games, he serve us during 5 seasons as a exceptional leader in the locker room with a lot D-affinities but contributing only in 2 games as a back-up. He decides to retire with one year of contract remainning, I would extend him but his son will play in Michigan his senior season this year and Ohio is their eternal rival, so he want to take care for his family and don´t argue his university´s bullies.

    * OLB Hoffman -->
    Drafted by Boston 13 years ago in the 3rd Round, he never have the opportunity with the irish men, after he signed with Las Vegas and after 2 quiet seasons jumped into a Sack-Machine-Caliber-Guy in 2027 and 2028 collected 21,5 Sacks in this period. After his contribution declined and lost his starting job, finally he falls into the TC of Ohio River injuried his wrist and landed in IR, sad end for a someday great projection guy.

      2033´s Draft Weekend

      After a trade with Waco last year, and Yuma in this one, Sharks doesn´t have any pick until the beginning of the 4th Round, but no problem, we´re stocked at every position, and had a nice Free Agency so we will start to grown from the bench and start to building through Draft from 2034!

      Round 4 Pick 5. OT Bo Harrow 21/50 (West Virginia)

      Excellent technique and endurance for the former Mountaineer, probably little undersized and underweighted but he have a rare combination of hands and feets to be usefull openning lanes or protectting our signal caller, bad bench-press in the combine but he could be a steal if he learns and evolves quickly.

      Round 5 Pick 4, DT Dixon Wiggins 23/44 (Auburn)

      The Tigers had a long time producing excellent DT for the OSFL and now the Sharks took Wiggins to close gaps and pursue AC East´s throwers, nice 40 time, better Endurance, and + 0.4 adjusted grade for this small defensive tackle, see what happens in camp but I really need some up-grade at DT back-up position in this year.

      Round 5 Pick 9, OG Quentin Herrera 19/49 (NW Missouri St.)

      By far, is at this point the best pick who I made this year, came from a small school but is a massive frame body with the explosiveness and velocity to reach the second level easily, when he develop all his tools and adjust to the OSFL´s speed, he could be an excellent inside road blocker, I´m anxious to reach the camp, and see what he can do in the Pre-season!

      Round 6 Pick 3, QB J.T. Freeman 9/25 (Florida)

      He doesn´t have the arm right now, but his Accuracy, Timing, poise and 2-minutes offense is pretty decent. Maybe we can develop him as a perfect clip-holder or viable back-up of Peterson, with Chustz or Galligher, in a Sanchez / Smith game this Pre-season, we´ll need a 3rd QB and I´m intriguing with Freeman... Also excellent Solecismic test....
