  • Dakota Preseason Trading Block

Putting up some players for trade. Each one has a trade value next to him, and if you post the trade for that value first he's yours. Doesn't mean you can't negotiate for a lower value (unless it's a 7th rounder!), but it's like a "buy it now" feature on eBay. The expensive ones are at the top, and they tend to get cheaper as they go down.

Roy "Chief" Parrish - 16th year - QB 60/60 - *2nd Rounder* Bowl winning QB who would be a legend if he didn't play in such a small market. He's still got at least a year or two left in him if you need that final piece to make your run. ***TRADE TO NORTH LIBERTY ***

J.T. Sandage - 7th year - C 63/63 - *2nd Rounder* One of my few good late round draft picks from my first MP draft. High BS and PB, and he's over 30% key run blocks the past two years.

Andre Peterson - 11th year - T 57/57 - *3rd Rounder* A nice pass blocking T. Might be a good player to package if you trade for Parrish and want better pass protection for him. (Peterson has suffered a minor injury in TC and will be ready for the regular season. He may not be tradeable until then, though.)

Lincoln Lewis - 11th year - T 54/54 - *3rd Rounder* More of a run blocker than a pass blocker, but sufficient at pass blocking.

Nate Shelton - 12th year - K 67/67 - *6th Rounder* 100 kicking power. I drafted a kicker who bumped big, so I'm comfortable with running with just the rookie at K this year. 21/22 on field goal attempts for me in the playoffs since I took over Dakota in 2018.

Ricardo Dudgeon - 6th year - CB 55/55 - *2nd Rounder* He's had some good years, but in 3-4 years when I get this team competitive again he'll be aging. He formed quite a tandem with Camilleri in my bowl year 2 seasons ago. ***TRADED TO GAINESVILLE***

Rondell Crossman - 7th year - NT 52/52 - *3rd Rounder* A very solid NT for a 3-4. He's not a total slouch rushing the passer either and could also fit in a 4-3. ***TRADED TO GAINESVILLE***

Seth "Rabbi" Shapiro -10th year - WR 46/46 - *2nd Rounder* 89 GD 48 BPR. Has been the top receiver in Dakota since I arrived. *** TRADED TO BROOKLYN ***

    Grant Giefeke - 7th year - WR 46/46 - *2nd Rounder* 89 avoid drops, 64 BPR 87 3rd down catching. ***TRADED TO MORGANTOWN***

Nate Small - 10th year - QB 42/42 - *4th Rounder* Holds the record for most passing in yards in a game for Dakota, after lighting it up early last season for nearly 400 yards. Would be a nice QB for a short/med passing system.

Roosevelt Dunn - 10th year - S 41/41 - *4th Rounder* 70 Zone, 78 PH 62 Interceptions. He's been a mainstay in my defensive backfield for years but he's on the decline. Still a more than solid contributor at FS, where he'll contribute more than some higher rated safeties. Bars in the right places.

Rico Zupancic -6th year- RB 33/33 - *5TH ROUNDER* - Good hole recognition, can contribute on special teams, decent break away speed 74 power inside 63 blitz pickup. His overall rating belies his usefulness. Trading him because I have an affinity UFA.

Kelvin Douglas -9th year- TE 34/34 - *6th Rounder* - Traded for this fellow for more than 5th I think, but I have a feeling Archie "str8 outta" Compton is going to be seeing the field more than him. Nice GD and BPR bars, but not much of a blocker.

As usual, almost anyone else from my roster can be bought for the right price.

Crossman's bump in TC was surprising. If he had been that good when I had him I wouldn't have let him go.

Yeah, he bumped just in time to get traded. :)

Dudgeon, Crossman and Giefeke are gone. Surprised it wasn't Parrish first.

Nate Shelton now available for a 6th round pick. Stephen Lane now available for a 7th rounder.

                  Seth Shapiro is shipped.

There are no offers on Parrish yet, so someone will probably get him pretty cheaply by the end of preseason. Send in what you're willing to deal for him and he'll go to whoever sends in the highest bid in the next few days.

Parrish is traded. If anyone has any needs in season, feel free to trade. :)
