  • Mermen for Sale

    Anyone, except TE Norm Varona.

    Seriously.

Alright, here's what I'm interested in:

    (a) Draft Picks for this year
    (b) Draft Picks for next year
    (c) Young players

I want to take the team in a new direction, so I'd much rather have picks than players. In fact, I have practically no interest in older players at all.

I'm also inclined to sell for lower value before the draft. Think someone is worth a 2nd? Maybe I'll let him got for a 3rd and 4th. I want to make deals and I want to do as many as possible before the draft so I can better formulate a plan heading into it.

Now onto some of my team highlights:

    WR Austin "Bigfoot" Olsavsky - 5th yr - 78/78
A true #1 WR with a good 8+ years worth of playing in him. He's the player I had been looking for my entire career in the OSFL. I love his size and his numbers should go up on a team that doesn't have as many offensive weapons as we've accumulated over the years. Definitely looking for a 1st+ here as he's so young.

    WR Paul Famie - 8th yr - 68/68
    GONE

    RG Dave Michels - 6th yr - 58/58
    GONE

    TE Rick Durham - 9th yr - 54/54
Tight Ends with BPRs over 50 are tough to find. Here's one for ya.

    QB Ted Pleasant - 13th yr - 50/50
My secret weapon. Pleasant has all the intangibles you'd want in a QB, but what you're getting here is the Michael Vick of the OSFL. Except he can throw the ball too. Pleasant still has something left in the tank as he put together a 4000 yard season last year, while rushing for another 500 yds. Did I mention he holds the OSFL record for YPC? He does.

    DE Pat Daniels - 5th yr - 49/49
    He gets to the QB.

    WR Claude Connell - 3rd yr - 47/47
    Gone

It's open season here. Draft starts Friday, I will be more firm about my prices then. Now, I'm pretty much going with the first decent offer.

In talks over one WR right now, don't miss out.

Nah, too many people voted no, I'm going to do my best to rebuild though. In a different way.

The addition of Connell makes Castillo expendable with a 7.5 Million of cap hit this year and 2.5 guaranteed. We need to study him and decide if any buyer jumps in

I'm possibly closing the door on trading Bigfoot this year. Having traded for QB Dakota leaves me with the possibility of actually contending in Bigfoot's career and the loss of 1sts for the next two seasons hurts.
