        Utah agrees. Thanks, prinzar!

        ---

This is certainly long and short term considerations. Half of me, the half that pushed this trade through, is thinking that after Foley retires or drops off the map, Sid will carry the #1 receiving role more ... voluminously, I guess? than Fletcher, and hopefully with a not-too-steep drop in explosion.

And the other half is screaming, 'what are you doing! that's seven years of cohesion! that's your ST ace! don't do it!'

But I'm ignoring that half and rolling the dice. Really hope this works out.

I think I'm gaining a better player, although older. Stats wise, they're similar players in their roles, so im hoping Fletcher provides something extra in a #1 role.

The value of the contracts played on my mind too. I get Fletcher at a good price for 3 seasons, while Sidharta is due a new deal this season. It's gonna give me more cap freedom to load around Fletcher until he starts to drop off

Hey, the last time Phoenix saw Fletcher, he was busy torching that secondary for 104 yards and a touchdown in the playoffs

You're right, though, he's been unusually quiet in his games with Phoenix otherwise. Must be a soft spot in his heart or something!

Contract/cohesion/ability wise, this all stinks. We're hoping a change in scenery will be good for Sid. The salt water environment and Randy Boone, maybe it'll help him raise his level.

Fletcher caught 2 TDs, Sidharta caught 100+ yards. Pretty good deal for both teams.

Maybe this week, but Utah comes out on top. The receivers are roughly comparable and Sidhartha is 3 years younger. Utah also gets a pick in the deal. Bonus: Sidhartha has affinity. Only negative for Utah is cohesion loss.

I think NOS said that they were worried about resigning Sidhartha, but getting a good WR for 3 more years is better than paying a little extra money, even with all things being equal. NOS takes a cohesion hit too, although not as big as Utah's.

Oh yeah, the affinity was definitely a bonus! I didn't even realize that was going to happen. The cohesion hit is fairly sizable: I'd be at more or less 100 cohesion without the move. ST is the other downside.

But I do think the receivers will turn out fairly comparable, at least as long as Randy sticks around and makes the magic happen.

Although the $51/6 years he's asking is looking a lot more expensive now that I look at it in-game.

haha I've had that happen a few times with happy accidents. My 1st round running back is one of them, with exceptional affinity.
