I need about 6m to fit him in. Should be able to save about 16m with the renegotiations I submitted. I think some of it gets proportioned with us having played a few weeks already.

Either way, it should leave me plenty space to pick him up

Daaaamn, DAT BOUNTY O' PICKS. :)

          Great QB though.

If I traded for him I was probably cutting two of my QBs to make room. haha

It feels like I've been holding the team back with not having a decent QB in my 4 years here. My current 39 rated guy is a career backup/3rd stringer normally. I've never made such a big trade in any league so this is a risk for me.

Hopefully it will help us to make the playoffs and we may get that first postseason victory with a little luck

Oh btw, when you renegotiate, his new cap cost will be whatever his new cap cost shows. So the difference to available cap space is going to be (NEW) - (ORIGINAL)...without factoring in how many weeks have been played.

You could be in week 16, cut a guy's salary down from 10 mil to 1mil, and his cap cost is going to be 1 mil + whatever bonus.

It doesn't seem like it should work this way, but it does. However, if you cut a guy outright, you'll only save according to however many regular season weeks are left.

Thanks for that info Nutah. I thought I probably had it wrong

Renegotiations take me up to $31m free in cap space, so we have cleared enough space. I can't wait to see him in a Stingray uniform now

Personally I would've waited for Shark to tag him again so he was completely backed into a corner and forced to trade him. Regardless, that's one hell of a QB.

He will loose ratings year after year since now, and with season lost I grabbed a great price for him... Maybe the next year I canīt win all that I won this trade. Time to rebuilding

Time to think in two or three years when all my stars will lose ratings If we want to be competitive at this point we need fresh blood from now!!! Just strategy!! I will miss Andrews a lot, specially this year
