Hey now, I asked a question cause I didn't have access to the game. Something I'm sure you can relate to. ;)

I always get confused about how far in the future we can trade picks because during the draft we only have the current year and next two years. I forget they refresh the picks once the draft is over so you have the next 3 years worth of picks.

Yeah, there are always 3 seasons of draft picks available to be traded. In the offseason the first season is the ongoing (or soon-to-be ongoing) draft. After the start of Late Free Agency, the first season is the next season's draft, since Late Free Agency is when the previous draft concludes.
