The Riders send C Rick Armstrong and their 2017 2nd round pick to Yuma for DE Dennis Treu

We were looking for a quick deal and got it, Treu was a good DE we will miss, but we have his replacement already from this past draft and he was not gonna re-sign with us. This gives us some wiggle room next year financially and a decent pick to use in our ongoing rebuilding effort, as well as a young, decent C to eventually supplant the aging Broderick Postell.

In other words, confirmed.

thanks, i think both got good value here i drafted armstron last year as a great value pick didnt really have anywhere to put him at the time as the C and G postions are strenghts for me but he was too good a talent to pass up on that late in the draft.

now i get a book end DE just gotta fit him under the cap and resign him, good trade both ways armstrong will be better than solid and dont know if id have gotten somone as good as Treu in the second round
