Ok hold the phone. He's been out of OOTP for a few years. I've been in leagues with him since way back in the Earl Weaver baseball days.

He's been out of it for awhile but he's been asking me for awhile to let him know if'/when we have an opening.

Pawtucket would be perfect for me. All those young prospects to trade.

Nice try. Wessinmouse would have responded with an expletive filled tirade about Sully's family. Sully has that effect on people.

The real Wessinmouse is HWessinmouse. Plus, he would have said something about Sully.

                Edit: Damnit Andrew.

No not Wessinmouse. This guys old like me but not hip like me so take it easy with him. I don't think he's ever posted on a message board!

But he's got a ton of OOTP experience, just been awhile.

I apologize for not hitting the finer points.

You missed big time. I mean shit. Everyone knows that Wessinmouse trades draft picks away not prospects.

That sets up an interesting "What If" question though and I think someone should write the article. What if that trade goes through? Besides never getting a new owner for that team.... how does that impact the league? While it's easy to say those 1st Round picks would have helped Washington, but do they win their 1st title without those two players?

The trade would have taken place in 1981.

Sierra was top notch during that time. '82 and '83 were his best seasons. Winning a Stout Slugger. Gonzalez was a front-end starter until even later. '82 and '83 were his best seasons.

I won the title in '83. No way would I have even been close to winning if I had made this trade. I probably still would have been rebuilding.

In 1983, Los Alamos was 90-72. There 1B was Toby Rochester, who hit .215 that year with a .703 OPS. (Remember, Sierra won the Stout Slugger that year). The rotation would add Gonzalez to these names: David Tardif, Carl Pateshall, Larry Larochelle and Eric Cafferty.

I'm going to put this out there...I think the Bandits would have won a title in 1983. Probably a playoff team in '82-'84.

So you're saying that this was a good trade for Los Alamos?
