Haydon's still up in Pittsburgh, and while his OBP is pretty damn low, he's not doing bad. Other than that first month of April, he's been great:

    May: .282/.307/.527, 6 HR, 20 RBI
    June: .279/.303/.462, 2 HR, 18 RBI
    July: .283/.322/.425, 1 HR, 7 RBI

Not spectacular, but he's on pace for about 16-18 homers and 75-80 RBI.

He has probably been my best reliever this year. 5-2, 2 saves, 2.89 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 45 K, 46 IP

Been very reliable as my #4 starter this year. 10-4, 3.03 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 92 K, 127.2 IP. Probably the leading candidate for IL rookie of the year.

Both are back in AAA playing decently well. Might be with the big league club again in 1984.

Originally an afterthought pick in the 1979 draft (7th round), he's torn up the minors. Currently has a 9-3 record at AAA, with a 1.89 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP.

Soriano went 13-3, 1.96 ERA, 0.85 WHIP at AA last season.
He was voted IL Refreshing New Brew for last season and is 10-5, 2.61 ERA this season. I'm very happy with Soriano, and I'm not sure he's done improving yet. He's played well beyond my expectations to this point.

He better be. He only threw 31 innings prior to this year.

He hasn't won any rookie awards this year...so I don't think he is.

I think the limit is 25 innings pitched.

Well if 31 innings disqualifies him from ROY that sucks. I guess he'll just have to go get the Pitcher of the Year Award!

In MLB, it's 50 IP, 130 AB or 45 days on the active roster, I believe.

Key words being go get. The kid is going to be lights out now that he has been dissed by the BLB.

If Aurillo goes .500 the rest of the way... and Tardiff goes .900... I still think Aurillo is in the driver's seat. It could be a battle.

I'd shut Aurillo down just so he finishes with an undefeated record.

                              Kidding, of course. Kind of.
