I don't really get big into the utility until the rounds get longer...but so far so good.

My top two pitching scouts liked him -- also had him at a 5 endurance.

Stuart was the other guy I was looking at with my pick. i liked how developed his current ratings were and I think he has the endurance to start.

No, I'm not losing sight of anything. This is just simply a weak draft class. Trust me. I have been here for every draft there have been with scouts, and I think top to bottom, this is the weakest.

Haha. Actually, two of my guys made it, but I went with the pitcher. What does everyone think about Jerry Stuart? He has a "5" on endurance from all my scouts, so I'm pretty sure he will have an easy transition to SP. All my scouts have him 5-5-6 potential, and they all him currently rated pretty high. He is 22, turns 23 on 4-20...I think he will be on the fast rise to the bigs.
Solid Pick, also had him at 5 5 6 overall.

    Jerry Stuart?

My 80 scout said 3/2/3, but overall was 5/2/4 on Evans.

I like Evans in that spot. My two 80-rated hitting scouts had him at 5-7-2-4-5 and 5-7-2-5-6.

Our Scouts overall had him at 5 2 5, as did my 80 rated Hitting Scout.

He's a very versatile player though, and for an middle infielder, his hitting is good enough.

Glad somebody else likes him because I was definitely torn. The way I look at it, even if his hitting doesn't develop he's still a very useful BLB player because of his baserunning and fielding skills.

OK my pick is in. Went with Clarence Evans. We had him rated as a solid hitter across the board except he doesn't have much power. The thing that put me over the edge though was his baserunning (Rated 6/8/8) and fielding (rated 6 at 2B and 8 at 1B, SS and 3B).

We needed infield prospects so hopefully he turns out to be a good one.
