Doyle, Schumacher and Burns all look like very good value at the top of the second. I spent about 1.5 hours after the family went to sleep, scouring the draft and every one of these guys were top of the draft list.

I'm surprised Householder was still there at 1.26. Jensen I like too. it's a tossup, but I really need to start focusing on pitching a little.
I really wanted Housholder, but LA pulled a page out of Baltimore's book of "How to be an asshole, AKA, JJLinn", and took him before I could.
I really liked Jensen but I didn't want to take him so high.
But seeing as how all I do is complain about my terrible organizational bullpen depth, I think he's the right pick for me.
LA screws me too!
Went with a closer. Not really happy about that, but my organization needs bullpen help across the board so, what the hay, took Tom Jensen.

With the 24th and 25th overall selections, the Bats have double dipped into the high school ranks, with SP Pieter van Westen and CF Bert Garza. van Westen is a 6'6" lefty who hits 90 on the gun at age 17, projects to have 3 very good pitches, strikes out a bunch of people, doesn't walk many and keeps the ball in the yard. My scout feels like he can be a monster, and is more bullish on his stuff potential than OSA.
Bert Garza is a true center field prospect with excellent range in the field and my scout also loves him at the plate. I debated several players at this spot, but ultimately went with Garza, who has an excellent combination of defense, contact ability and power. Again, my scout likes him more than OSA, though he's no slouch on there.
Maybe a little risky to pick two high school players - I debated that for a few minutes - but we'll take the risk and hopefully end up with two cornerstone pieces.
I hope we can elaborate the Rookie league so they can develop as they should, rather than being overmatched by 22 and 23 years old dogs sitting in the A level
