FYI. I’ll be on the road back home tomorrow and it is about a six hour drive. In other words depending on where we are in the draft, I may be spotting the draft for a bit.

Trying to make this pick after the trade, and it's stuck. There a way to manually push it through from the top player on my list?

With the 24th and 25th overall selections, the Bats have double dipped into the high school ranks, with SP Pieter van Westen and CF Bert Garza. van Westen is a 6'6" lefty who hits 90 on the gun at age 17, projects to have 3 very good pitches, strikes out a bunch of people, doesn't walk many and keeps the ball in the yard. My scout feels like he can be a monster, and is more bullish on his stuff potential than OSA.

Bert Garza is a true center field prospect with excellent range in the field and my scout also loves him at the plate. I debated several players at this spot, but ultimately went with Garza, who has an excellent combination of defense, contact ability and power. Again, my scout likes him more than OSA, though he's no slouch on there.

Maybe a little risky to pick two high school players - I debated that for a few minutes - but we'll take the risk and hopefully end up with two cornerstone pieces.

Bert Garza is a really good pick. My scout loves him.

Damn JJ, I was gonna take Hennigar if he got to me with my 2nd rounder even though he doesn't have a position. He's gonna be a good hitter.

Went with Henningar at 22...probably ends up as a DH, but my scout thinks he's going to be a monster hitter.

I like guys who have speed and power. And if he gets to the show as a 2B, hopefully Kelly/Rushin/LaFleur can hold down SS and have a nice DP tandem for a while. Build up the middle
