Try disabling windows firewall?

On my Mac last night... the first time I tried downloading the file it didn't work. I waited five minutes and tried again... and it did work.

Maybe the connection the ftp isn't strong or something?

For Future Reference

In case any one else should experience the same problem I had (saved games/leagues not showing up in-game and not available for loading):

I opened the saved games folder BEFORE I launched OOTP X, and presto!...All of a sudden the leagues appeared in the "load game" screen. After that, I was able to see and load the leagues without first opening the saved games folder. That's a new one on me.
