That's good to hear. There was another pitcher I was contemplating but I wasn't too crazy about his poor work ethic. I also had Pagan rated higher than Howell and Fitzgerald...so I think I'm happy.

My scout had Pagan at #4 overall onn our board and the #1 pitcher.

Agreed, but we're talking about 4 starts and 28+ innings. That's such a small sample size.

I'm in no way knocking the pick at all because I'm not seeing a consensus top of the draft player this year. He may very well develop into a good starter, just not sure at this point how much stock we can put into the stats the feeder league guys are putting up. Time will tell though.

I had Fitzgerald as the 55th best player in the draft and Howell as the 5th best.

My guy had them at 14 and 10 respectively, but we have a limited scouting budget so, you know, once the blow and hookers are paid for there's not much left over for actual player scouting.

In the game it says I have the #7 pick but on the draft I have #9. Any reason for the drop?

My in-game shows BAL at #9. Downloaded the league file update this morning.

Wow. First two picks weren't even on my draft board. For the record, I only had my Top 10 listed so far, but neither made it. Interesting.
