Pleased that Tom Calligan lasted to 1.19. My scout had him at #12 on the draft list.
Only 17-years-old and going to be a lengthy project but I like his upside and intangibles.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Pick is in. Diesel took my guy which was the last SP I'd consider here. Went with the legendary RF Tom Miller. Can hit a little bit. He's a monster on the basepaths and a great looking fielder. Just isn't a whole lot out there.Originally posted by BradZ View PostWindy City at 1.20 is upWINDY CITY PLAYBOYS

When I started making my late round list, I had two guys I really wanted: Jimmy Peller and Dave "Gabby" Smith.
Denver's got a Gabby. Hard-thrower with three plus pitches. He's my 2010 Jimmy Schiefelbein in terms of a late first round arm that I expect to be a good BLB pitcher.Last edited by Carlos; 01-30-2015, 05:06 PM.Denver Bulls

Big fan of the Diaz pick by Indy. I consider drafting him at 1:15 but I didn't like his lack of speed. But he should be a good hitter and decent fielder.

Was really excited to see him last this late. Potential big time power, like you said, decent defense, and a great work ethic. Didn't care for his lack of speed, or the fact that he's gonna K a ton and not walk at all, but we'll work with it.Originally posted by Delandis View PostBig fan of the Diaz pick by Indy. A lot to like about Diaz. Won the 2008 Outstanding Hitter Award then had a 27 game hitting streak from 2009-2010. He also has a cannon OF arm with high intelligence and work ethic.Originally posted by Ryan View PostWas really excited to see him last this late. Like you said, he has no speed, doesn't walk and will probably strikeout 120+ times a year, but I like the pick.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Didn't love any of the guys so I went with Cordova. OSA seems to like him a lot and his made-up stats look great.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

He was on my radar for 2.12....My scout isn't a huge fan but OSA seems to love the kid.Originally posted by Lintyfresh85 View PostDidn't love any of the guys so I went with Cordova. OSA seems to like him a lot and his made-up stats look great.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Miller and Stark were my list of two when I signed off this AM. Good OSA potentials, good stats, intangibles. You took Miller and I got Stark. Stark is Durable already in game. H/VH for brains and work ethic. OSA has his potential contact/power climbing almost every year. Fifty games...16 HRs this season. Worth a shot a 1.21.Originally posted by Jistic View PostPick is in. And there goes Bilden. I was hoping he'd continue to slide. My scout, ratings-wise, had Bilden as the third best hitter in the draft. Only Shook and Farless were rated better.
I think he's going to be a serviceable BLB player with some pop. Great pick.
5-5-7-4-5 potential.
I love Engstrom and Bilden going to New Orleans. New owner needing to rebuild, and I think you have two solid pieces to get it started.
