What's the typical timeline for BLB to upgrade versions?

In regards to pitching and hitting coaches, how much do their ratings matter in regards to handling vets, rookies, etc?

Say I have a pitching coach with Legendary skills in A-Ball, but he's terrible with rookies.
Will that have an impact on my young guys?
I was under the impression that these types of ratings were only really used by the Managers and Bench coaches, but not so much the specialty coaches.

I'm not sure if that is known exactly.

However, I don't believe the manual explicitly says that it will not have an impact on your guys for coaches in support roles. So I normally try to get guys that handle players well, just in case.

I think another aspect of it is that the more reports you have, the more accurate they become.

What's the point to ask for a scouting report for one player, if we have a scouting report label already in the player's profile?
