Remember to watch your games in Solevision! Results are not visible when you start the game, so you can "watch" your games "live" with Solevision if you want. It's pretty sweet, if you haven't seen it yet.

A quick note about trades. Two teams made a trade today, between the midweek sim and the game sim. Since the traded player(s) could have been hurt during tonight's games, I've decided that all trades will be processed only on midweek turn sims. This will ensure that nobody trades for someone who then gets injured during a game, and it will save you all from having to monitor the process of deactivating players you've traded. Simpler all around.

Well, we weren't very efficient offensively, but the defense showed up and played well.. Scovill lit it up for 122 yards.

They say all you have to do to win is run and stop the run and I'm satisfied to that end.
No major injuries either. Not a bad start, even if it is preseason.

Well, it was certainly interesting to see how well the SIM executed what I thought I had game planned for. It was very accurate on the Offensive side. My D was very soft. I need to spend more time on that side this week.

I got major problems on offense if the first game is an indication. My starting QB SUCKED! My receivers SUCKED early on. We passed WAAAAY too much. Twice we were inside the 15 and went on to get sacked, one time, ended up with a FG, the other time, got sacked 2 times straight and end up punting. I know where I need to go with offensive game plan. I had over 100 rushing on 14 carries. My defense gave up 14 early and then settled down until late when the scrubs were in. I lost 24-6. Much work to do. QB controversy in Port City! 14 penaties 108 yards...ouch. GG Gainsville.

Other than the ridiculous amount of turnovers in the first half, the team looked decent. I gave Washington drives starting on my own 42, 36, 22, and 1 on 4 bad turnovers. However, the D stood tall and only surrendered 13 points on 170 yards of total offense.

So far I'm feeling good about my kicking situation. James Moreno knocked down all 5 of his attempts from 47, 47, 45, 20 and 40 yards.

Good game, Acid. You were right to be afraid of Harvey Strong. :)

GG Clay. I'm disappointed with how my Gulf Coast Offense performed, but I'm extremely happy with how well our defense did overall. We are going to give up some yards, but I think we can be opportunistic on defense.

Riders

Phoenix Riders win a preseason game, 17-3, against St. Paul Bandits. We're not going to light up the scoreboard, but defensively I think we'll handle it okay.

We lost 3-0 in OT. The defense was freaking spectacular, as I knew they would be... Sadly, the offense was worse than even I imagined. Horner threw a pick on his FIRST PASS OF HIS CAREER.

Bad times in North Liberty. We are going 0-16, and probably losing every game 3-0 or 7-0.

well, i have a pretty good kicker, we trailed most the game, I punted from my opponent's 36. I was pissed. hell go for the fg attempt or go for it on 4th.
