Wow, that's a tough one Mike. Rando's teams are always beastly, but it must have hurt to not have Max.

I am taking some issue with Greta here. There are a number of *pretty questionable* guys on her list of "Most Careful Quarterbacks." Career 26 TD, 32 INT...

Is our database dead? Anyway to get it going just for us...and if so the cost?

Our database appears to be down for the count.

I think we just need to host it on our own servers and it'd be OK (no special cost / need to solicit donations), if we had someone provide the frontend for it (that's currently Ben's code and I don't know if he releases it publicly). There are other existing frontends too but I don't know who to go to ask about that -- the vNFL uses its own thing, the FOFL uses curveo's stuff, etc.

I've been working on and off for a database frontend that we can use to supersede Ben's old stuff. The timetable probably won't be that soon. I can say if it gets finished it'll look much sweeter

But right now all I have is code that outputs the divisions, teams and records.

You got to experience both sides of McBriar in one game. He's like a random game result generator. I wish I could take credit for the game plan winning it!

Wow, that was a stomping. Combined score of our last three games vs. Boston; 106-29. Of course two of those three games Boston was without their star running back.

Also, holy turnovers. 4/5 fumbles lost, 1 interception by the Irish versus only 1 fumble from us. It seems that effigy of Corwin Metzenbaum we burned after last season's playoff loss must have worked (particularly awkward, seeing as Corwin is still on the team)

Also still working, our opening week luck (9 consecutive opening day wins, 13-2 to start the season since I took over the team) as is Casey Baumgartner's "magic rust". The less I play that guy in the preseason, the better he does opening day. If only there was some way I could bottle that rust up and save it for later in the season.

And a statement game out of Burt Newman this week. Rex wanted to go with our new 1st round pick as the starting RB this week, but we stuck with the league's all time rushing leader instead.

Newman's 75 yard TD might just be the longest of his career (won't be able to check until I get off work tonight) and even if you took away his two longest runs of the day, Burt still would have wound up with a higher YPC than the rookie (who also coughed up our only turnover of the game, not a great way to start the career, rook).
