Earnest Giang is sitting out with a 2-week shoulder injury, but he won't be the only Bees starter missing from the lineup. That field turf is garbage, man. With Denver in the playoffs regardless, there's no incentive to try and knock them out, either.
AC
The AC wildcards are set, and the only fluid spot going into the final week is the AC East battle, between Motor City and Lake County. Both teams should be pretty heavily favored going into this week, and a tie would favor MTC, I think?...which is good, because as much of a challenge either team would be, I don't think I'm the only one who is thinking, "Yeah, I could do without facing off against Paul Covington throwing to Vinny Ireson."
New Orleans and Denver make the wild cards even if they lose this week.
NC
Columbus is the official #1 seed in the NC, although the NC East (BOS/CAM) and West (PH/YUM/LVS) are still up for grabs, as are both wildcard spots (GAI/MOR are in it as well).
A full ten of the NC's 16 teams have a shot as it comes down to the wire.
#1 OVR
Believe it or not, I don't think this one is locked up yet! A Bayhawks win will likely push them behind a number of other teams, although they are going up against Las Vegas.
KAL, BKL, and LA could all finish 3-13, and all of them would pick above SFO (I think) if the Bayhawks win, in the order shown here [based on SOS tiebreaker]. How's that for incentives!
