Andrews continues to decline my offers to extend his contract. As a franchise player next season he would cost roughly $32.5m so I'm desperate to get this deal done

Apparently $36m in guarantees isn't enough

Did Andrews raise his demands? This happened to me last year after I lowballed Boone one time too many. It seems that once this happens and the player raises his demands, it will take significantly closer to what he's asking for to successfully sign him.

My previous contracts with Boone all hovered between 75 and 80% of his total demands. Last season I went over 90%, even with some extra bonus I believe.

So I think you need to be a little carefully with too many low offers.

A couple of Utah rookies are looking a little promising. Was starting to get worried, but Scott Syron looks like he's climbing in just the bars I was hoping -- including the already high 2-minutes bar.

Pre- and post-cut test images overlayed. The post- is inverted colors and so has blue bars, which if you squint enough are on the higher end for everything but medium & timing -- which, since they're paired, are dropping in concert.

WR Thomas Collier, the 4th round pick I gave up a future 3 for, is thankfully coming in with 52 BPR and some solid climbing potential, although his RR/ST are dropping:

Hopefully not too steeply, with his sole/intel combination.

Lastly, here's Scott Syron's right click in the trade screen. I was rather hoping for better kick holding, but 35 SR is better than I feared, thankfully. It seems toeing the line between hurl-worthy and acceptable. All those bars with 0 current are funny, but he's 1% developed, right?

Side note, 3rd down and Timing appear to be two bars that rarely show up with low development in QBs, sort of like elusiveness in RBs. Weird trend, not sure if it means anything.

We also signed rookie TE Dan Van Pelt this week, and he's looking like the most promising TE3 we've added this offseason. Definitely see a little creeper in him, although he does seem athletically limited overall.

That's a sexy kick holding bar. Too bad he has zeroes everywhere else...

In my experience, 0 current = 0 forever

Liking a lot of the rookies on my roster after the peek. No stars (by a long shot), but some good young depth - and maybe a couple of starters in the defensive backfield. For not having a 1st and picking mid-round, best we could hope for.

That's 0 future, definitely not 0 current. There are a lot of 0/12 let's say, KR or PR bars that often drop to nothing on players. This is just low development.

Hey, nice signing on Pickus, by the way. I was considering picking him up at 7.30, and maybe I should have...

Travis christen looks just like I hoped he would. His low GD looks like it will be coming up too.

Guarantee all those bars with no red are zeros when he's done developing

You mean almost all of his bars? That'd be quite awful. This ex-Bee QB made it to 23/37 before he was cut.

                      Guess we'll see.

Positive cut test and some ratings holding on my guys. Most importantly, my QB Douglas has a positive cut test. A couple droppers but the ones I expected when I saw their ratings.

My FB -> RB project Ascencao holds, but he only coverts at 77% due to his height, of all things. (Too short for RB!?!? WTF?!?) I'll convert him anyway because I don't really have a use for a FB who doesn't block.

7th round Red Flag monstrosity WR Eyles will bump. If it's enough I might be carrying 3 RF players. :)

edit: Looks like Douglas is increasing in Short, Medium, Long, Read & 2min at the least.

We are really happy in Waco with how our rookie QB Nick Noble looks. His 99 kick holding bar ensures a spot on our roster for years to come even if his development as a QB doesn't come to fruition.

Here is a side by side screenshot of the WAC & UTA rookie QB's after rookie signings.

Noble (WAC) was drafted 5.24. Syron (UTA) was drafted 3.7.

It will be interesting to see what these two look like in 5 seasons.

What is up with Syron's zeros? He didn't have them in DA or Conscriptor.

Oooh, looking at it again I see why he has the zeros now. I agree with Mike though, zeros stay zeros but I believe that's only after TC.

Man, since Chustz is dropping any one of us could have the best QB in the class!
