  • SIM COMPLETE - WEEK 11

And so it goes. I went back to square one with my gameplanning this week. So without having looked at the results, I'm going to guess that I got stomped out worse than usual.

    Enjoy! :D

Also, I'm going to talk to cam and Wessinmouse about the betting standings and weekly lines. If we never update the standings and don't crank out lines every week, the whole thing becomes an exercise in futility. But if both things occurred regularly like clockwork, it's a fun idea. We'll make it work. It's only the first season and we're all working on getting into a routine here.

Great, now my kicker is getting in on the ineptitude of my team. We're actually competitive for a change, and my idiot kicker misses all 3 attempts. Combine that with some "interesting" playcalling on 3rd and 4th downs, and we get shutout. Just wonderful.

LOL, I seriously don't get this game at all. I had 2 straight weeks where my team ran exactly what I put in, and ran it great. Then this week, they decide to completely do their own thing, and God knows how many 3rd and 7's I have, where I got 6 yards. Oh well..I'm still determined to figure out this thing.

At least my RB continued to fumble every single game.

            Damn, 3rd straight loss.

Good game diesel, I would've kicked your ass, but Malcolm Coles likes to throw into double coverage 75% of the time. :)

I noticed that, too. I was wondering what was going on with you running on third and long. That was an ugly game. For both of us. 20 penalties. One red zone visit between us. One. Utah's kicker Bates picks up his second player of the game. Well deserved, but it could have gone to the punter just as easily. I also had a fairly devastating injury to my left tackle, who's the best lineman on my team.

I'll take it, but concerns linger. Better luck next week, liquid.

Riders go to Los Alamos, the preseason prognosticators pick for supremacy in our Division, and win handily. Gameplanned a little light, but still effective. Next, Utah Bees. A win at home against Cotton, and the Riders clinch the first AC West Division Championship and a playoff berth.

DE Brian Roset is an absolute monster.
                  7 tackles
                  5 sacks
                  1 FF
                  3 hurries
                  9 knockdowns

Huge win, really wasn't expecting it.

I'm no Math major, but that would only put you up 4 games, with 5 remaining.... ;)

Let me see. . ..I've swept Denver, already beat Utah and Los Alamos, both on the road. If I beat Utah at home next week, I've won the Division. Now, if I beat Los Alamos at home the last home game of the season, then I've swept all three Division rivals.

Now, I'm not even looking at the Conference title yet. That may not happen, but I'll at least be in the playoffs with a win over Utah.

Unless FOF is different than the NFL, isn't everything based on overall record? Meaning, your divisional record doesn't mean squat if another team in your division finishes with a better overall record.

I've won two straight DFL NC North Championships with the Indy Invaders, going 10-2 against Division opponents. I've never not made the playoffs by winning the Division. So, I'm a bit confused.

Look at the standings, if divisional standings were based on your divisional record, Boston would be tied for first, and Punxsutawney would be ahead of Motor City right now, and Chicago would be ahead of Dakota. Everything is based on overall record. Sure, odds are in your favor if you finish with the best divisional record in your division, but the best overall record is what wins you the division...

At least that's how it's done in the NFL.
