The Admirals ain't lookin bad either. That season ending game against Motor City could be one of those. . . protect the players for the playoff games.

What the hell was that?! One crazy game.

Just to recap the Anchorage/Charlotte game.

I return a blocked punt for a TD to make it 7-7. Opening 2nd half kickoff is returned by Charlotte for a TD.

Then with 3 minutes to go in the game Charlotte goes up 3 and we take the kick back 99 yards to go up 4. A quick stop gives us a chip shot FG and we lead by 7.

Then Heath Dixon returns ANOTHER kickoff for a TD to tie the game with a 1:36 left. We get the ball and fumble it at our own 38. Luckily we hold them and force a punt. With 20 seconds left in the game and the ball on our own 20 we decide to throw the ball. WTF!!! Of course it gets picked off and allows Charlotte to kick the game winning FG with no time left.

Well, we got a good win against Yuma. Dominated in just about every way, except that our defense got loose in the 4th quarter. We are now at .500 and 1 game back of the wild card, but there are a lot of teams in and around the same record as me, so it could get interesting. I have a fairly easy schedule coming up, which I hope will lead to some more wins.

To clarify the earlier discussion on overall/division records. Overall records determine if you make the playoffs or not, division and conference records are used as tie breakers.

Ok, I don't know what gameplan we're playing off of here. Neither my offense or my defense seemed to have any resemblance to the plan I used this week.

I'm in the second quarter right now watching the sim, and I haven't read whether I won or lost, the former being a serious longshot at this point.

I have no idea what my coaches were up to, but congrats to the Defenders for making us look entirely inept (with a little help from ourselves) this week.
A grade school team would have beat us.

Even if he did, my team did nothing of what was in my gameplan. I could have played Middle Valley Junior High and got shut out. Doesn't help that my RB has fumbled in every game this year but 1.
