I certainly have no issue starting from scratch. If we do, I would consider moving the team to a new city, if only to create a more fearsome mascot. A groundhog just doesn't intimidate or strike fear in the opponent.

I'm not sure what I'm for. I love my team but I think Utah's dominance has made starting over more feasible to me than normal. More wide open will always generate more interest.
Regardless a lot of the old guys will return so I don't see filling a league whichever way we go as an issue.Comment

Seems like a waste to throw away all the league history. But, I can see how people might want to restart with equal footing.
The big question to me is, why are we drafting, building teams, etc. right now if we're gonna throw it away? Lets get the new game and start over now if that's the planOwner of the Drunken, Fightin' Irish.

Yeah, whatever the league wants is fine. As Julio points out, FOF7 is probably going to be a pretty effective restart anyway. For those who haven't checked out the demo, a lot has changed in the player ratings model. The entire highly predictable unmasking thing appears to be out the window. I wasn't around for the 2k4 to 2k7 conversion, but I'm also told some players changed significantly in the crossover.
Where in 2k7 right now, you can have a pretty good handle on the exact quality of almost every player in the league, in FOF7 that seems like a much, much, much dicier proposition.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

The only thing that makes sense about a restart is to give everyone an equal financial base to start with.
With the new staff draft, even the best financial setups are going to lose coordinators, though. So, I'm against starting over.Owner of the Drunken, Fightin' Irish.
