    Good points here.

Honestly, the thought never crossed my mind, personally, about resetting the league and starting over, so I've been operating "business as usual". I always assumed we would finish out 2032 in the current version, giving the new game time to get bugs worked out and we would convert at the end of the season. However, if there's much more interest in a reboot, it's certainly worth the discussion, so please everyone feel free to openly discuss your thoughts on the matter.

I don't mind either of the 2 options

however what about all the draft trades people made and the history of the league will simply vanish? it's a little sad

and how's the game? I haven't tried it yet...comments please

FOF7 is cool. Uglier than ugly, but it's got some much needed changes and some simplification on the gameplanning side.

Still don't know how we're gonna do the staff draft stuff.

Also, I originally brought up the idea about rebooting the league in large part to annoy Nutah, but also because I thought there was a possibility of the new game throwing things into such disarray it'd be easier to start over.

If someone's really ballsy we can start a new league with all of us AND keep the old league. Some poor schmuck will have to volunteer to run it, though.

If Utah don't grab a nice QB in the new version it will be a lot hard for him to keep the rythm, also with film room we can defend him better. So with all the history and time invested in building rosters and the stockage of draft picks we should continue and convert after 2032 without a restart.

Hehe, don't worry about that, it's completely an understandable sentiment anyway

It looks like FOF7 is quite a departure and also quite an improvement (gameplay wise), but I only really spent about an hour on it so it's hard to really say. A lot less utility-dependent with built-in ratings history, although the in-game scouting doesn't hold a candle to GPA. Will it matter? Possibly not, because Rex is reportedly really improved.

with all due respect to the owners who want to restart, im sure there will be several new leagues and if you want to start from scratch im sure theyd be happy to have you. but as far as this league and im sure some of the other long time ones there is something to be said of continuity history and just the fact that some of us have worked hard to build what we have.

the best middle ground is Foose suggestion start a 2nd league kind like the Vnfl has the "V" and "House" league

                            Words of wisdom here, IMO.

I would like to keep my team and history - I don't have the game yet and probably cant get it until our season is over anyway, but I'm down with whatever.

So what is happening at the end of this season, are we using these rosters or restarting?
