To me Holzberger was the best player in the draft. But he's a WR, kinda like the whole Calvin Johnson thing this year.

I'd agree with liquidcrash's assessment of Holzberger. . .I was even gonna name a cheeseburger after him if I got him in the draft. . ..the "Lou" Holzberger. . .Colby Jack cheese. . .a little garnish on the side, marinated in Irish whiskey. . .

Kalispel is elated that Percy Grier fell to them at #10. He was top on the teams board going into the draft. This will allow current LT Phil Manning to move over to the right side and QB Dan Shaw will get some much needed protection.

Grier was a top 3 talent. Absolute steal at number 10.

                I agree.

                If I had a need for a LT, I would've taken him, he's a stud.

                  Recapping a furious first round.

At #2 We had Denver taking QB Jamie Scoggins out of Georgia. OSFL personnel people I talk to see Scoggins as more of a project QB with tremendous upside potential. He's got the arm to make all the throws you need at the next level. Some questions about decision making, however when he makes the right decision he can put the ball right on the money. Some thought Jamie could've used another year of seasoning but the 4th year Junior's upside translates to a high 1st round pick. Could've gone another way here, but the Denver staff loved their interview with this young man and they see him developing into a perennial pro bowler in a few years.

Yeah, even though I have no need at LT, I damn near took him anyway. I was thinking of doing that and moving Whitaker inside to LG.. But I have other, far more pressing needs.

                        • At #3 We have Washington taking lightning fast RB Randy Richardson. Scouts views varied, but I had Richardson as my top rated RB. He ran a combine best 4.39 40 at his position. Richardson possesses that rare combination of blazing speed, power, and agility that only special players possess. Richardson is a homerun hitter than can get you that tough yard on 3rd and short late in the game. His only weakness is that he needs to work on his patience setting up his blocks and trusting his lineman instead of over relying on his freakish athletic ability.

                          • I'm leaving work now, so should be home in 30 minutes or so. I'm looking to trade down, but stay in the 1st round. I'll check any offers when i get home and then either trade or pick.

                            • Depending on how the next four picks shake out, I may be looking to trade down to pick up a 2nd rounder. PM or IM (SkerikOS) if interested.
