What Matt said. If the guy has one year left and you don't resign him. He'll end his holdout, but won't sign with you next year.

47 players on the roster and I have to somehow come up with another 7.5 million for Mr. Big Shit in a new town. You haven't even put on your pads and you've already pissed me off Ness.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

Lake County released a few guys and signed a few guys. Sorry, the site went down RIGHT after I exported the stage this morning, and I wasn't able to upload the HTML or post a notice about it. Uploading HTML now.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

I really wanted Malcolm Shannon. Besides his somewhat weaker run defense, he is a very good coverage guy. I outbid Morgantown by $556,000 and still lost the bidding war :(
Guess I should have made him the $6 million man.GM of the South Maryland Maulers 2034-2040
Moved to Huntsville and became the Bulldogs in 2041

Yes -- cap issues.
After the releases, they have just barely enough room to sign the 12 players needed to reach the minimum 46-man roster...if those 12 are all rookies at minimum salary.
Actually, I suppose San Fran could've kept them and waited for the AI to force them to sign players (which it will do, regardless of cap, to get to a legal roster). Although that may have incurred a draft pick penalty, I'm not sure when those come in.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

I might be the guinea pig and see what happens. I'm at 44 players with only 200K left in cap room and really don't want to release anymore players.
So you are saying if I just let me team be the computer will automatically sign 2 more players to my roster and I'll just be at a negative cap number?
