I passed on the bidding with Flickinger. Just didn't feel that a huge payday was in line because he's only okay in coverage, but amazing at stopping the run. I want someone who can cover better (ie. La Flamme).

He held out last season and while we were trying to sign him, he kept turning down the offers. Finally he ended his holdout, but was pissed. Now he won't resign with us. He was a great player. Played well above his bars. We're going to be sorry to see him go. I really wanted to keep him.

I really like that FB from Waco, we extended him a 2 Year deal with $ 4 Millions guaranteed and up to $ 9 Millions... Hopefully he will replace perfectly Middleton who is in his 11th Year with two years remainning, will be an interesting 1-2 FB tandem to use during Run and Pass situations... See how it works

    I figured.

Tyson (LT) is asking for real cash and I'm going to have to pay up I guess.

Happy to have picked up Frisch.
My first big FA signing since taking the reigns in Washington. I missed out on that WR earlier in FA but we do have our sights on a few minor singings in an attempt to settle down our locker room which looks to have a bit of infighting going on.

After the "Perkins" fiasco Sharks are spending the cap to sign our own players, this time a couple of back-ups are agree to extend their deals.

However a veteran UFA player is in the Shark´s offices right now, hopefully we will get him!!

Hey, we had $140M in space. Better win something in Free Agency.

I really wanted to land Perkins long term. The price on Perkins seems pretty reasonable. I guess I just thought I could get him at even lower, and $10M bonus/year over 4 years was too much for me. I suppose I could have tried $35M bonus in 1 year, but I have an entire rest of the team to assemble, too.

Brooklyn has the steal of the FA so far, I think. QB Sheldon is being paid south of $40M.

He got a great player, but in the new game, WRs are important, but the addition of 2 stud WRs to an offense will no longer take you from worst to first in a single season, it's not like that anymore. So many other areas factor in the W/L aspect of it.
