First game coaching the Hitmen, and we squeak out a 12-9 victory against divison opponent Camden Cutters. A whole 200 yards of offense, and 9 out of the 12 points coming off of a punt return for a TD, and a safety. The good news, 8 sacks by the D.

It was a brutal game.... I forgot to run the ball the first half, then Estell went berzerk with his 9 whopping carries.

At least they showed life.

The only thing that kept me from wounding myself with a permanent QWERTY into my forehead was realizing how much more you were probably banging your head.

Sloppy game. Lucky looked pretty inept out there at times and the Bee penalties were ridiculous. Your offense looked really tentative, and mine was just out of control. Partly my fault.

We destroyed Chicago 40-14. We scored on all 6 offensive drives in the first half. A couple fooish penalties on Chicago's part helped us in that first half as well. We'll take it. Can't wait for Holzberger to come back. Galloway is really going to have fun with this offense we have assembled. =D>

Oh, Galloway wins his first POTW award as well. Very nice.

Nice win. I can't believe our Defense got owned that bad through the air. I've never been crushed like that. I know we aren't a great team, but our D is better than that.

Besides the obvious I was happy with Kaplans play...until he threw 4 picks. But he also made some nice plays. Just as a comparison we had a 100yard reciever in the game....we had ONE all of last year. Also had a good running day. But man penalties, turnovers, and a matador defense betrayed us.

We'll lick our wounds and try to regroup next week.
